Reviewed 13 August 2013

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The location is very nice. Although, it's far from all the tourist sites. My friends and I decided to get our rooms cleaned the second day. We put the sign in front of our door to let the cleaning service know. When we got back to the hotel my friend realized that his iPad was missing. We went downstairs to let the receptionist know that it was missing. My other friends and I then went back upstairs to see if any of our things were missing and it so happens that we got a lot of our things stolen. The cleaning people ended up taking more than $1000+ from us; an ipad, ipod, and 200 euros. The staff were able to find out who cleaned our room and stole our stuff, unfortunately they could not do nothing about it. We were not the only ones that got our stuff stolen during our stay. There was also a guy who got his money and laptop stolen the same day we got our things stolen. There was also a lady there who told us that some of her husband's things were missing as well. In order to get our refund or try and make something happen, we had to file a police report. But that did nothing. Do not book your stay at this hotel. I highly recommend that you do not.

Dear Guest,

We are very sorry for the troubles you experienced during your stay in our establishment.
One of your friends also posted a comment on Tripadvisor regarding this unlucky experience and we have responded to her in order to bring some precisions.
As we told her, we looked into the situation after you reported that your personal items had been stolen that day and operated a keycard check on your apartment, which led us to the conclusion that you and the cleaning lady were the only people who had entered your room. As a matter of fact, the cleaning lady in question has been working with us for a very long time and we have entire confidence in her.
Moreover, we did not register any other complaints regarding stolen items on that day. You seem to point out the cleaning lady is guilty for a theft that has not been reported to us. This “cleaning lady” is a person that we blindly trust. She is an honest and hard working person.
You may also envisage the fact that the door of your room has been wrongly closed before you left in the morning.
However, we invite you to contact the police station of the 13th district of Paris. We truly hope that they will be able to help you with this matter. Should you need assistance from our side, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,
The Management

Floor plan very awkward. Had to climb over sofa bed to get to spiral staircase to get downstairs. No small fridge to keep drinks cold. No extra pillows. Breakfast was good. Location a long walk from cultural centre of Paris . Large construction sites happening across the road.

Room Tip: Get a room all on one level. avoid spiral staircases!

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your feedback regarding our aparthotel.
The satisfaction of our guests being at the heart of our priorities, please be assured that we have taken good note of your comments.
We are glad that you enjoyed our Buffet Breakfast signed by famous chefs Pourcel, and would like to inform you that our residence is located just a few meters away from metro station “Bibliothèque François Mitterand” and line 14, which can take you to the very center of Paris within a few minutes.
We are however surprised to read your remark concerning the fridge, as all of our apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette including a fridge.
We hope to see you again soon in one of Park&Suites aparthotels.

Pretty good hotel. Room had microwave and other appliances which made it easy to cook in the room which helped us save money. Short walk to the metro and quiet safe neighborhood. However the wifi only works in the lobby and really sucked. Room key took forever to work and open the door and tv remote didn't work. First world problems I know but added up to feeling annoyed. Overall good hotel and helpful staff.

we got there july 14th 2013 and its pretty far from everything. the area is nice its like the suburbs of paris. the lady that greeted us and checked us in was very nice also, knowing that it was a four star hotel we expected it to be just the way it is. the lobby was well kept, beautiful flower arrangements.

the next day we decided to get our room cleaned by the cleaning service so we put the sign on our door & we also made sure that we went according to their rules such as putting the towels in the bathtub if we wanted new ones & keeping the place semi clean. we also put away some of our luggages so that it wouldnt be in the way. when we got back my brother was looking for his iPad & he couldnt find it anywhere! he knew exactly where he put it, he hid it so that no one can take it while they were cleaning it. he went downstairs to complain about how the staff must have stolen it and they guy who was working at the front desk had no care in the world! I then checked my stuff and i found out that they took $400+ and my new iPod also, my friend checked their things and they got their money stolen as well. A TOTAL OF $1000+ AND 200 EUROS WAS STOLEN BY THE CLEANING LADY INCLUDING THE IPOD AND THE IPAD!!!!!!!

THE STAFF MADE IT HARD FOR US TO GET ANY RESULTS! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR THINGS STOLEN! AND IF YOU BOOKED IT ALREADY BE SURE TO NOT GET ANY CLEANING DONE OR USE THE SAFE THAT IS PROVIDED IN THE ROOM BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE AN EFFORT TO DIG THROUGH YOUR LUGGAGES!

THE STAFF FOUND OUT WHO IT WAS AND ASKED THE PERSON BUT OF COURSE THE PERSON WONT CONFESS TO IT! SO THATS IT, WE COULDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! WE WANTED A REFUND BUT WE HAD TO FILE A POLICE REPORT AND NONE OF THE POLICE SPOKE ENGLISH!!!!

WE WERENT THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT HAD THINGS STOLEN. A GUY GOT HIS LAPTOP AND MONEY STOLEN, ANOTHER FAMILY GOT THEIR RAY BAN SUNGLASSES STOLEN AS WELL! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Great hotel for the price, location was only 10 mins on the metro to all major tourist locations. Quite a bit of building work going on around the location, but none of which affected our stay lots of cafes and bars with a great atmosphere, staff very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Hotels in Paris are expensive. If you're willing to stay slightly further from the centre (only a 5 min. metro ride to the centre) at an affordable price, this is it. Granted I can only talk about the junior suite which we got for my parents and I, but we stayed here for 4 nights and it was by far one of the cheapest places in Paris. It exceeded my expectations - the room was huge and very clean. Note that the shower is exposed in the corner of the bathroom, so things might get wet if you don't be careful.

I have stayed twice during my trip.

First time was in a 'A' room which is a interconnecting room, quite small maybe 15 square m, which is not what the hotel advertising 20 sq meter.

Second time was in a normal room so this time is bigger. However the room conditions was worse. First, the dishwasher was not working, so we called reception to check it. They responded that it was Saturday, the repairman was on holiday, so he could only check on Monday but we would check out on Monday. We asked if it is possible to send some spare dishes and cups for us so that we could have breakfast in our room. The receptionist said could only tell the housekeeping see what they can do. The next morning I went to the reception to ask for spare dishes and cups again. This time she marked down my room number. After 15 mins, a housekeeping lady came and gave me a dish-washing pack with a sponge and some detergent inside. She said there were so spare dishes and cups for us, as we need to stay for 2 days more. She said she would not wash the dishes for us and asked me to hand-wash the dirty dishes and cups in the dishwasher by myself!! I can't believe they can be that helpfulness!!! they never show any sorry about the inconvenience that caused us!!

Second was I could always hear water running in pipe sound during I used the toilet. Need to shut two doors without hearing the sound during sleep.

Third is the lobby wifi is not working on the last two days during our stay. Of course Sunday no one repair again! Definitely not recommend to anyone because of the poor problem solving and customer service skills.
