A small good restaurant near Le Bon Marché shopping mall.
At lunch you have the choice between fixed menus, at relatively reasonable prices.
Very, very good the vegetables cous cous, quite good the beef tajine (meat slightly overcooked).
We also tried a tasty almond cake(orange-flavoured), accompanied with an english cream (vanilla flavour).
Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff (though quite curt).

This little place does two things: salads and tagines (stews with couscous). Very nice vegetarian choices. All plates were served with generous portions of tagines and accompaniments. Spicy by Parisian standards, with heavy emphasis on the Harissa. Service was helpful but curt. Expect to exercise your French exclusively. Filled with locals at lunch.

This restaurant was located just a couple of minutes walk from out hotel and we turned up on a busy Saturday night with no reservation. We were shown to a table straight away and soon realised that we were the only foreigners in the restaurant. The service was very friendly and we soon had our food and wine ordered. The mixed starter was a big mistake. However I had pointed out to my partner that perhaps ordering Greek starters in a French restaurant was not smart. I do not think many other people order that starter as it had seen a long fridge life! The rest of the meal was excellent. We had superb steaks with pepper sauce and for dessert we chose the coffee with a meringue and a small chocolate mousse each. The meringue took me back to the days of the local bakers when I was a kid and the chocolate mousse was one of the best I have eaten anywhere. At just over 60 euros for the two of us, it was an excellent deal. Just don't order the Greek starter!!
