We stopped here for a late supper while in Paris since it was near our apartment. While we were greeted warmly, seated & our order taken, after that we were pretty much ignored. I chose chicken with mashed potatoes and my husband chose penne pasta. There were no salads or vegetables with either, just chicken with mashed potatoes and a dish of pasta with grated cheese on it. The waiter did not come back to ask if we wanted more wine or bread or dessert. We were disappointed in the service at this restaurant. The food was ok but because of the service, I would not return.

Friendly staff who made you feel comfortable in a buzzy restaurant. Plenty of good food on the menu and a happy hour that lasted 4 hours+. Good to pop in to and enjoy wholesome food such as salads, burger, chicken, pasta etc

Nice staff but don't imagine to eat excellent good typical french gastro.
The first floor is quiet, nice view.

Dropped in for a quick lunch on the way to the Eiffel Tower. Service was fine and the food was pretty good though we were seated upstairs and so were left to our own devices for a lot of time (we were the only ones there aside from another couple). We were grateful for the solitude but that may not work well for ever diner.

The restaurant itself was a bit run down and this adds flair further reinforced by the over the top decor and we liked it (though again this may not be to everyone's taste).

We ate here twice for dinner. I wish I knew our waiters name he was superb. Walked in here first time because opposite hotel. All staff made us welcome, but our waiter would speak and make jokes in English whilst we did our best in French. He made us feel so at home, and engaging in general conversation - as well as helping us with our French. The place was packed both night with locals. We may well have been the only tourists in each night. Our waiter gave us the same respect and attention as his regular. Had a good choice of food and wine and reasonably priced considering it is Paris! Could not fault this place.
