It's hard for a vegetarian to eat delicious food in Paris. Especially when you don't know the language and can't communicate with the servers and then wind up with something you weren't expecting. My daughter and I saw the big vegetarian sign above the entry and joined the long queue. It was worth the wait. The falafel wrap with all the toppings was the best food that we ate in Paris during our 4 day stay.

Great for a "cheap eat" when you're visiting Notre Dame - it's just a few blocks away. Maoz felafel vegetarian wraps were really tasty, with fresh salad in with the felafels. My teenage kids loved them too. Only downside is there is not much room to sit inside - as it was raining we couldn't easily "take-away". Yum Yum!

Have been to Maoz tens of times and each time the experience is better than the previous one.

If you are looking for an ambient setting for a special occasion to cuddle up with a friend / children / lover / mate - this is certainly not the place.

If you are looking for fresh, delicious, aromatic, tasty, snacky, wholesome food, I recommend this strongly. It is manned at one time only by one person who does all, make the felafels, warm up the pita, dish out the fries, refill the condiments, vegetables, sauces, etc. There is barely place to sit and you might end up sitting in each others' laps or sometimes even elbow to elbow with other patrons. If that is acceptable, get a taste of his felafels once before you leave the St Michel area.
Recommend fill up with vegetables and take your wrap along for a walk back to Shakespeare and Co. and look at the second hand books on sale...

We do not normally go out for fast food, but this really hit the spot. It was getting late, and most other vegan places were closed. We only ordered french fried, so I cannot talk about anything else. The french fries were nicely cooked, and salted to perfection. We enjoyed them greatly while walking back to our apartment through Paris.

As we often go to the Maoz on Great Compton Street in London, we decided to visit another branch when we went to Paris. Although there was not such a broad salad selection everything was still delicious. We picked up our lunch and then headed over to enjoy the sunshine beside the Seine with a bottle of wine.
