Karen's tour of the Jewish Quarter (Marais) was a most enjoyable experience . She impressed me with her entertaining personality while delivering some serious facts about the History of the Jews in France. The beautiful and somewhat hidden passages along the way held some interesting stories too.
It was also nice to be able to see the inside of some synagogues due to Karen's connections.
We never had to wait in line for the popular lunch stop either.
A great way to spend an afternoon in Paris.
This tour shouldn't be missed, i am still thinking about it...

The first day we arrived in Paris, we did a private "Paris Along the Seine" tour with Hanna. It was a marvelous way to get an overview of the city. Hanna was knowledgeable and animated, and brought the history of Paris to life for us. Later in the week, she even took the time to e-mail us a list of movies and books that feature Paris. The next day, we did the "Jewish History Tour of the Marais" with Karen and about 10 other tourists. Karen was warm and engaging, and gave us a detailed glimpse into the history of the Marais. She made us feel right at home! Sight Seeker's Delight also e-mailed us links to restaurant recommendations, a Paris market list, and an interactive Paris Metro map, all of which were quite helpful. These tours were well worth the fee (which was very reasonable). We would definitely take more tours with SSD in the future!

My mom, sister and I decided to spend a few days in Paris while in Europe for the first time. We booked two tours ahead of our trip: the Private Whirlwind Jump-Out tour and the Jewish History Tour of Marais. Karen was our guide for both tours; talk about energetic! We had a great time on both tours and were able to see all of the major attractions plus some we didn't expect. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes! The Whirlwind tour was perfect since our mom traveled with a cast and cane; we could get in and out of the cab easily at each location. The website is a bit misleading since there is a picture of a full-size car, so when the cab arrived we were a little surprised. All turned out fine, but not as comfortable as anticipated. Overall a great first experience in Paris!

Our party of 4 took 3 tours; Walking Seine with Hanna, Montmartre with Chris, and the Food Tour with Karen.

We learned so much about the culture and love they each have for the city, it made me want to come home and share my city with others. Wear comfy shoes, have a great attitude, and be willing to sample new food.

When I return to Paris, I will definitely take more tours with SSD!

Delighted in a tour of Montmartre region of Paris. Started out at the Moulin Rouge and worked our way up the hill and through history to the Montmartre cathedral. Tour guide had wonderful English and a wealth of side knowledge and tidbits of the area, the attractions, ties to US culture all wrapped up in a wonderful attitude.
