This is a very Touristy area with so many restaurants all with the same menu, competing for your custom. Its a hit and miss , we were lucky to get a hit here.
The waiters were attentive , the atmosphere sitting outside in the heated area was fantastic especially when it rained.
The food was not at all bad , not fantastic but above average for where you are.
We ate here several times and the €16.00 menu was very good value for what it was.
There may be better on the street but we tried some of the others with a €10.00 menu and were not impressed.
Worth a visit

We had 2 soups both warm rather than hot and then Turkey and chips and blue cheese fondue. All ok and not expensive and would have stayed for desert but they didn't really looks after us so went for a crepe round the corner

excllent food, superb waiters and fun atmosphere. really enjoyed the experience, even with 2 young children. it's very competitive in this street, so one reason why standard is so good. decor is more amusing than tasteful,

Avoid this restaurant. We were attracted by the waiter outside, who is the best thing of this restaurant. He was wery funny. But the food, horrible. The duck was dry, moussse was hard, onion soup not good... and the table was small..

We ate at this restaurant on our 2nd last evening in Paris. What a dreadful mistake! We had been in Paris for 4 weeks and had nothing but wonderful experiences. Sadly we will not forget this meal for all the wrong reasons. This place is truly a dreadful tourist trap.We should have known better than to eat at a place were the owner is standing out the front enticing people to come in. A decent restaurant does not need to do this. My husband and I decided on the mussels in white wine as an entrée, and our daughters had the mussels and chips. None of the4 plates of mussels were hot, and all smelt odd. Stupidly we ate about half of them. For a main my husband had steak and I had beef in red wine. My beef was chewy and was served with discoloured potatoes plopped on top of the meal. I think they had been microwaved separately and then added at the end. I didn't finish this meal. My husbands steak was dry and served with what looked like reheated tinned green beans. At this point we decided to leave even though we had paid for dessert as part of our meal. Over the next 3 days all 4 of us experienced severe stomach cramps, gastric & vomiting. We had to spend 6 hours on a train from Paris to Zermatt suffering. This truly spoilt the last 5 days of our holiday as we were not well enough to eat or leave our hotel for extended periods.
