We were at the Hotel Concorde la Fayette near Porte de Maillot and asked the concierge for a lunch recommendation for a nice restaurant nearby. He suggested the Sebilly on Charles de Gaulle, about 5 blocks away and recommended the seafood.
The walk took less than 10 minutes and the host seated us at a booth. The atmosphere reminded me of an old library with wood cabinets and dark carpet.
We ordered a green salad with tomatoes and asked our server for a nice bottle of rose from Alsace. The baguettes were just like you expect them to be in Paris: delicious.
For our entrees we both ordered the duck breast. It was really really good. They gave us a nice portion of duck with potato au gratin. The white wine was a good selection.
For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse.
If we were going back to stay in the Porte de Maillot area, I would definitely go back to Sebilly.
