This hotel is great, confortable, beautiful, clean, well located and close to the subway, everyone at the reception desk is nice and helpful. It is small and does not have the rush of the big hotels. I highly recommend.
Este hotel é ótimo, confortável, bonito, limpo, bem localizado e perto do metro, todo pessoal da recepção é atencioso e prestativo. É pequeno e não tem a correria dos grandes hotéis. Eu recomendo.

A very nice colorful small hotel in a quarter of Paris.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful.
Rooms were clean. For two people small but adequate for a 3-4 days city trip.
All in all one of the best hotels for that Prise I've sleeped in in Paris.
I'll come back!
Absolutely recommendable!

This was the third time we had visited this hotel. In between times we tried to book but they were full and we ended up elsewhere in an overpriced smelly dump.

This is a bijou hotel which is quirky but clean and nice with nice people and a nice breakfast.

The lift is so small that both of us and our suitcase could only just fit in but that was fine. The rooms are small but in keeping with all other hotels in this category.

I have only two [small] complaints - there are no tv channels in English as per most other hotels, and the heating timer needs adjusted - we came in to the room at 1.00am and you could have fried eggs on the radiator! We turned it off and opened the window. I think they should fit stats to all the rads so that clients can adjust to suit. It would probably save them money too!

Always book a room at the rear of the hotel as the street side can be noisy at night.

One other thing - the shower was fantastic - great deluge of hot water at a great pressure!

There is no doubt in our minds that we will return!

Room Tip: Room 42 was great, but always ask for a room to the rear

This was a return trip to Paris (the first since we got engaged) to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Could not have picked a better place! For North American readers, if you like the ubiquitous beige and white American chain hotels with marble and a fountain in the lobby - this is not it. If you want an authentic French hotel that is clean, comfortable, friendly and reasonable priced, I don't think you could do better.
This place is certainly quirky - narrow spiral stairs, a tiny elevator (one person and a suitcase is about all it will take....) and slightly strange decor. For us, it all added to the 'authentic' experience.
By most European standards, the room was a little small. Tiny by North American standards. But again, this is quite typically Parisian and we very quickly adapted to being in a smaller space.
Not all the staff were knowledgable about tourist matters, but all were friendly and helpful. We managed to arrive without our usual collection of power adaptors but were presented with a huge selection and invited to borrow whatever we needed.
Breakfast (at extra cost) was good value with a wide variety of breads, cereals and beverages. Again, Americans looking for steak and eggs will be disappointed - this is Paris. We started each day with an espresso and fresh croissants with ham, cheese or very high quality preserves. Staff were always on hand to replenish supplies; there were only ever just enough fresh croissants and running out meant a trip to the bakery down the street for one of the staff for more.
WiFi is free, but in our room (48) only really strong in the bathroom. So it that's important, maybe ask for a room with a good signal. I imagine lower floors are better since it works very well on the main floor.
Location is superb, a few (maybe 5) minutes walk to Pernety Metro station. Most of the main Paris sights are only 2 or 3 Metro rides away. We even spent a day at Disneyland - took about an hour to get there by Metro and train.
We were there for 6 full days and could not possibly have eaten at all the options within a couple of blocks of the hotel.
If we ever get back, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for one with good WiFi if that is important to you.

This charming little hotel in a quiet neighborhood just might be the best value in Paris. Everything is fresh and clean - the whole hotel smells nice! The beds are super comfortable and with nice fluffy pillows - perfect to come home and relax after a long day of sightseeing. They offer free umbrellas when it rains (which it did a few times during our stay.) The Pernety metro station is conveniently located 2 blocks away, but you should know that most major sites require a connection at a larger station like Montparnasse Bienvenue with hallways that seem to go on forever - just make sure you have really comfortable walking shoes. Didier, the night desk attendant, is the friendliest guy ever - he really went out of his way to make us feel special by offering tea and cookies and engaging us in conversation. We found the wifi connection to be a bit spotty in room 36 and were told the lobby has a better connection. There's not much space to hang your clothes - just a small bar with a few hangers in the bathroom - a suggestion might be to add another bar or a few hooks in the room. All in all, we loved our stay! Thank you!

The staff is super friendly. They speak French and English and Italian. The hotel is lovely. Colourful and super clean. The wifi connection was working properly everywhere, the neighbourhood full of amazing Boulangerie ;)
It's the best hotel I've been until now. The rooms are cute and super clean. The atmosphere is relaxing. When I'll go back to Paris, I'll go back straight there.

Room Tip: There are some rooms connected with an internal door. If you go with friends or family, ask for one...

We booked this for my wife's 50th Birthday and the hotel couldn't have been better. It is a funky, friendly and very reasonably priced hotel. The rooms and bathroom are small, but this was made clear in the promotional material and is the case for most hotels in Paris - it certainly didn't bother us. Perhaps best of all was the staff, especially the night staff. Didier was so helpful and friendly - he really made our stay something special!

Room Tip: Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs as the lift is tiny...
