We chose BLC on the look of the rooms on the website. We were a little anxious about being outside of the main tourist areas but were more than happy with the position of the hotel when we arrived. The bastille is an easy 10 minute stroll through an area with many local bars and restaurants but not a tourist area, a further easy walk takes you to Notre Dame. The metro is a 2 minute walk making the rest of Paris easily accessible. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly, if I return to the city I would stay at the BLC again.

Surely you wonder who are these women pictured on our headboards that dresses our white walls? The answer....two steps from the BLC Design Hotel...These are portraits of ladies who stayed in Le Palais de la Femme that were photographed by Parisian photographer Lise-Laure Batifol.
