Located just a two minutes walk away from Gare De Lyon, it was A FANTASTIC hotel for our two nights stay. We were arriving from Genev by train, so hopping off and just checking in quickly was a great relief. The staff are extremely helpful, they helped us make our short time there as effective as possible. Would highly recommend this hotel. Stayes 07-09 June, travelled with a friend.

Room Tip: we stayed in room # 309, it had three single beds and TWO SEPARATE ensuite bathrooms!

I didn't even manage to go to this hotel...I booked in March, and they do not accept prepaid cars, so they told me the card was refused. I gave them a non prepaid card wich works perfectly (and they also asked for the preauthorization of the amount, that I received on my bank account)....nonetheless they kept telling me the card was not accepted!!!!
I felt the receptionist was totally unwilling to help, they didn't even accept the prepayment I offered!!!
Clearly, this was a subtle way to cancel the reservation because they were in overbooking.
I chose to change hotel, and go somewhere else with staff more willing to help....this is not the way to treat customers!!! absolutely disgusting behavoiur!!!!

My first stay in december 2012 was pleasant. But recently my stay was a succession of unpleasant happenings. First I got a single room oriented to a light shaft. Further I got trouble because I lost my mobile phone, but could not help me using the telefon line in the room, it was out of order. The receptionist could not help me , he was not allowed to let me phone from the reception and the computer got stuck. The cybercafé close to the hotel was not open at that time. In fact, the staff is not able to help the clients when they got trouble. The hotel is his three stars not worth.

Room Tip: Avoid the last floor (no lift)

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel in December 2012 & I thought that especially for Paris standards it was a good value for money hotel. The hotel has excellent location; 2 minutes’ walk from Gare de Lyon, with easy access to metro and trains, although the location is not close to main tourist attractions. There are lots of restaurants, shops and cafes along Rue de Lyon and within a 15-minute walk you are in Bastille with excellent night life and dining options. The room was rather spacious and had a free Wi-Fi, TV, but no mini-fridge. The hotel is quite clean and the personnel was helpful and quite friendly. What I really disliked is that it was not possible to open windows in my room, so it got rather warm & stuffy during the night. There is an airco, but it was rather noisy to have it on the whole night.
My main issue I had was breakfast- I am vegan & there was absolutely no choice of any fresh fruit or anything that did not contain animal products. The quality of food did not look attractive to me, either. That said, the breakfast is not included in the room price, so you have a choice to have breakfast elsewhere, there are plenty of options and a supermarket close by. Overall, especially for business stay, it is a good value for money hotel.

Room Tip: In some rooms it is possible to open windows, in others it is not. If it is important to you, ask at...

Stayed here for two nights in October 2012, the hotel is basic but clean and tidy, it came at a good price so basic accommodation is what I would expect for the price. Very good location about 2 minutes walk from Gare De Lyon train station where you can access the metro and get pretty much anywhere in central Paris within 10 minutes. There are local bars, bakeries and shops nearby to. Staff were very helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris on a budget
