“Nice people, nice hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 February 2013

There are more than enough reviews regarding the basics of this hotel.. ..so I prefer to provide reviews on a different aspect: the people. First of all, the front-desk staff were extremely helpful and patient with our endless questions. They were expremely polite and nice. They helped us a lot about getting around the city in the most convenient way. Another particular experience we had was that; one day my wife forgot her cell-phone in the hotel room - and we realized this in such a situation that going back to the hotel would spoil the whole day.. When we returned to the hotel late in the evening, we found her cell-phone safely preserved in the room. It is nice to have such a group of trustworthy staff. All in all, nice people make Joyce a nice hotel.

excellent choice for a hotel, uniquely located and extremely close to almost everywhere! calm and relaxing, nice room although a little small but this is very common for paris, friendly and caring personnel, with an open bar for refreshments as an extra bonus! very fairly priced. will certainly keep in mind for next trip to paris.

Perfect for a short break, convenient for metros and sights. The open bar gives access to snacks and soft drinks which is a nice touch. Metro down takes you to Place Concorde or ten minute walk to Montmarte. We were well looked after and the staff were very helpful across the board sorting out trips and requests.Overall a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again for sure,

Room Tip: Rooms on the front have a balcony which although it was cold we stilll used.

A great small hotel with quirky deign features that even those with moderate taste will enjoy.

Hotel staff a delight to deal with without exception.

Located within 5 minute walk two metro stations that can get you to most of Paris sights within 15 minutes.

5 minute walk from Moulin Rouge, 15 minute walk to Sacre Coeur.

Plenty of typical French cafes / bistros on the door step with different price ranges.

We paid €139 per night for a double room for the two of us for our 3 night stay which included breakfast.

When you walk around the area there are a few girlie bars around the Moulin Rouge but the whole area is busy and at no time did we feel unsafe. Don't let this put you off at all but just so you are not surprised when you get there.

Room Tip: Room 506 was at the rear of the hotel near the top and was nice and quiet.

Exceptional hotel! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I stayed here for 4 nights recently and would absolutely stay here again! The staff (especially Jennifer) were amazing and extremely helpful, location is great- just a short walk down to Galleries Lafayette, we even walked to the Lourve in half an hour. The rooms were very large and spacious which is extremely rare for Pairs accommodation, bathrooms were excellent, and the breakfast food was amazing. Having free wifi is definitely a plus and very much appreciated. I don't have one bad thing to say about this hotel!

We stayed at the Hotel Joyce for 4 nights in September 2012. It is a really nice contemporary hotel with a quirky edge to its design. The staff were always helpful and the ipod dock in the room was a nice touch. The location was great for us as we liked to eat out in Montmatre in the evenings but the hotel was south enough for an easy walk down to the major tourist sights during the day. We would definitely stay again.

What a great place!
3 minute walk to the subway, very clean, wonderful location, quiet, comfy, great breakfast, complementary drinks during your stay.... the staff is so kind, the room was exactly like the pictures. IT IS ALL GOOD!!!!
I will be back for sure!
the best relation price/quality i've ever encountered.

Room Tip: book directly at the hotel's website, for better rates with breakfast included.

Standing at an unconventional spot of the upper 9th district, the Joyce Hotel is ideally located at the crossroads of the theater district, Place St-Georges, and the "hot-spots" of the fashionable South-Pigalle neighborhood. Maliciously decorated by Philippe Maidenberg, with nods to inevitable Parisian monuments, our hotel will seduce you with its comfort and bold design. Luxury car furniture recycled as improvised seats, inverted Eiffel Tower, delicate tromple-l'oeil paintings around beds, breakfast with bio breads and cereals under a very Eiffel-like glass roof: Everything is ready to usher you into a fun and surprising world. Our 44 rooms are full of thoughtful and delicate touches that add to the cosiness of the place. All rooms feature a quiet atmosphere, strengthened in some cases with a terrace or an enchanting view over the rooftops.
