Stayed two nights on a business trip. Prefer to avoid large chains and booked this based on tripadvisor reviews.
Overall very positive experience.
Positives:
1. Quick check-in. I arrived early and room wasn't ready, but they gave me the first available room.
2. Location...slightly away from center but metro station 2min walk away.
3. Rooms well laid out (& original design). Very clean, soft carpets. Impressive lighting and shower options.
4. Complimentary minibar drinks.
5. Never used the sauna/gym but looked new/comfortable.
Negatives (no major ones, couple of minor ones):
1. No dining option in the evening, only room-service. But can have drinks downstairs and breakfast in the morning.
2. Bathroom quite small, even tight getting into/out of the shower unit.

Overall this was a very positive experience, good value compared to majority of hotels in Paris.

We stayed here for two nights when going to see a concert at the Casino de Paris (which is 400 yards down the road). The hotel is very close to three metro stations and close enough to two SNCF termini and is handily located between Monmartre and the Opera Garnier and on to the right bank (Louvre, etc, etc). Taxis can be difficult to get at the weekend in these parts, although there is a rank up the road at the Place du Clichy. Despite all that, it's in a quieter, more residential part of Paris. It might be a little too close to Pigalle and its dubious attractions for some, but it isn't that near that you would be affected at, say, night time unless you came back to the hotel through that area. Indeed, if you only ventured southwards or westwards, you needn't be aware that it's there. During the day, we visited the Pompidou Centre, shopped at the Galeries Lafayette and dined just off the Champs Elysee, using a combination of metro and taxis, all in reasonable time.

The rooms are small, but stylish with themed decor and lighting. Well equipped with tv, dvd/cd player, free wifi, safe, etc. Ours had the "traditional" Paris hotel view of the well at the back of the building. Unlike some hotels where room space is tight, the bathroom hadn't been scrimped on and we had a full size jacuzzi bath with overhead rain and handset showers. Toiletries provided. There is a small lift and wheelchair access at the front of the hotel (Rue du Clichy entrance). The hotel has a sauna and fitness centre which we didn't use during our short stay. There are some good walks in the area, such as to the square where Chopin and Georges Sand lived with interesting antique and craft shops in the adjacent area.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and clearly have been chosen to cater for English-speaking visitors. We tried our French but, unusually for Paris, all were happy to converse in English. Reception is staffed 24/7. Breakfast is substantial - part buffet, part service - and goes on until 11am which us unusual. Breakfast is served in the lounge/bar which is on the slightly raised ground floor on the corner of Rue de Parme/Rue de Clichy and is a good people watching place. The hotel doesn't do lunch or dinner, but does do reasonable room service throughout the day and evening and you are surrounded by restaurants of all shapes and sizes. There are two Japanese restaurants very nearby, as well as plentiful Italian, Chinese, Indian, fast food joints and, of course, French, all within walking distance.

Other than the actual size of the room, which might restrict some people, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and to recommend it.

Me and my husband flew into Charles De Gaulles from Luton, Uk. We travelled to Secret De Paris with ease on the public transport trains.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by very polite reception staff who gave us a free cocktail upon arrival and we were offered seat in the bar. We arrived early and the staff were kind enough to allow us early entry to our room .

The hotel is presented beautifully with running themes for each floor - my husband picked the 'Opera' for our room theme and the room although very small was lovely with ballerina shoes hanging from the bed posts, the reception lady took us to our room and gave us a mini tour describing the room which e found very helpful. The hotel is expensive for only bed and breakfast but Paris is a very expensive place.

The bathroom was pure luxury with a corner bath tub which also acted as a jacuzzi. We had a big flatscreen but unfortunately not one english speaking channel and you can get dvd's from reception for free but these are also french so we didn't watch much tv instead opting to play music.

Whenever we called reception which I did a few times the staff were always happy to help you and no question was un answered.

We used the basement gym and sauna/stem room facility which were total bliss.

Breakfast was a serve yourself posh buffet and it was amazing with plenty of choice for a small hotel.

Overall our two night stay was fantastic and very romantic.

Super boutique hotel, charming and unique would happily slap the designer label on the decor, rooms and layout. Great mood lighting and enjoyed the rain shower and the jacuzzi type bath, very relaxing after a hectic day.
Wonderful to have a gym/sauna on site.
Service was outstanding. Staff are young, attentive, fun and nothing is too much trouble, be it locating a store, organizing transport, contacting the airlines or just making your stay more streamlined.
Breakfast was fabulous, best scrambled eggs I've had EVER, and croissants were just perfect. Very impressed.
Personally I would have preferred the situation closer to Opera but it was a stroll away from Montmartre and Galleria Layfayette and taxis were everywhere so transport wasn't a problem. That aside this property was fabulous and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. The price, the staff, the rooms were all outstanding.
I'll be back and will tell all our friends about this secret!
Congratulations!

This was my first holiday to Paris and staying at the Secret de Paris ensured that it was my most enchanting vacation yet. I walked into the hotel completely exhausted from the flight over the sea and was greeted with a comfortable intimate atmosphere and I immediately knew I had made the rght choice when I changed my itenerary. Raphael and staff were nothing but helpful, friendly and completely accomodating. My Blackberry "died" when I arrived so, first thing was to use the complimentary laptop and internet to establish communication with home. The staff told me the best thing to do woudl be get a calling card to use while i was there-perfect! The room was exquisit. The rain shower and deep whirlpool tub were awesome and a great way to start and end the days! I stayed in the Tour de Eiffel room and it was just as described. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in in all my travels period. For me, the location was great! It's close to the metro and is walking distance from everything. Of course you have to like to walk. I do, and walked from the hotel across to the La Grande Rou Ferris Wheel every day. No worries staying here!!!

This is the most imaginatively designed hotel I have ever stayed in. The room we had was on the small side but the design cleverly masked this. Our only negative comment was the limited hanging space Everything was clean and well presented. EVERY member of staff conveyed a pride in their hotel and made us feel welcome and valued.

At 17 euros the breakfast is reasonable value if you have a large appetite but if all you want is a continental breakfast then this is readily available at half the price in one of the many nearby brasseries.

When we next visit Paris this hotel will be our first choice.

Lovely stay. Personally feel it is over priced for what you get. I stayed in the Moulin Rouge themed room, please note they state on their website within the room description that there is a bathtub with hydrojets and a rain sky shower. There is a shower but there is no sign or space for a bathtub.....slightly disappointed!
