When i arrived at Villa Brunel I really did like the decor and the overall feel of the hotel but found the staff a bit stand-offish and not very welcoming. The lift to go up to the rooms is TINY, i got in but felt too trapped in so decided to carry my case up two flights of stairs instead. The rooms were very clean especially the bathroom which was good. Sounds petty but was dissapointed that there wasnt any flowers in the room as on the website there is a vase in every picture!! Also room 21 has a very broken window, i went to open it and the top of the window totally come away, it also comes away from the wall when you close the door.
Location ok, very short walk to the Champs Elysee and arc de triomphe but immediate surroundings a bit strange and not a lot going on in terms of resaurants or cafes. breakfast is at an additional cost and not very good.
Overall ok but I felt when asking Questions about how to get to places etc. to the staff I felt as if i was annoying them as their attitude was a little rude and blunt. Probably would not stay again.

This hotel is a few roads back from Arc de Triomphe so well located. Has nice cafe's around and is close to 'Argentine' metro. Quite a walk to Champs Élysées but with the metro, that's not too hectic a problem. We had dinner around the corner at La Maison and was very good.. Rooms are small but adequate, carpets a little old and could do with renewing! Lift tiny! Bathroom nice in size but water leaks all over the bathroom is you turn it on full.

All in all, a decent hotel.

I booked this small hotel throught Booking.com as Paris was fully booked last week, It was only for one night but very poor. The room was ok in size but the dirty carpet , the tiny flat pillow and worst a badly made bed was really enough for me.
Then breakfast was very poor , service again very poor - I asked for 2 A4 envelope at reception which they unwillingly gave me one and said they could not give me any other even if paying. We had a lot of luggage and he pointed that we should walk to a taxi in the next stand.
