I took my teenagers and we found it interesting BUT there is LOTS of reading so little ones may not enjoy. It was very informative on the history of chocolate and we enjoyed viewing the different chocolate cups used (especially the moustache cup). If you remember it is a museum and not an attraction you will enjoy it. The hot chocolate at the end was amazing. Takes about an hour and if you are a chocolate fiend like we are you will feel it was well worth it. A little overpriced but really what isnt in Paris.

A journey through the history of chocolate spanning 4000 odd years, with some chocolate tasting and a very pleasant chocolate making demonstration. The exhibits were interesting, and effort has been made to interest children, with pretty posters, and some colourful displays at child height level.

If you visit Paris, do not miss on this wonderful journey to the world of chocolate.

An hour of your time that you will never regret, a full knowledge of how and where it all began till the day we enjoy the chocolate today, the tasting session is an unmissable experience, where you taste the best chocolate in the world.

This museum had displays on the history of chocolate and a short demonstration on how to make it. However, I felt that the entrance fee was too high (9 euros per adult, only a discount of 1 euro for seniors and students) and the marketing for the Belgian chocolate supplier was not at all subtle. This museum might be a good diversion for kids (although the exhibits aren't especially engaging) but if you have limited time in Paris, don't waste your money visiting.

It has been one of the shortest museum visits that our family experienced. Firstly, the museum is tiny and is a size of a coffee shop. The tickets are seriously overpriced at 9 euros pp and the articles for display are not interesting or engaging enough. We were attracted by the brochure showing beautiful garments made out of chocolate. When we arrived at the museum there were NONE (the museum representative said it was 'a temporary exhibition'), but a few plastic pieces for children in addition to a few very old historic sceneries related to chocolate history. It was not engaging or exciting in any way, very small and overcrowded. The little chocolate shop at the end (or beginning of the space, almost the same area) was very overpriced too... Do not bother to visit, as it takes a while to get there, but very difficult to spend more than 10-15 mins inside as there it nothing much to do...
