The works of Rodin are house in a beautiful 18th-century mansion with manicured gardens. The sculptures - The Thinker, Saint John the Baptist and The Kiss are some of the most famous on exhibit. Our family purchase the Paris Pass and it included entry into the Musee Rodin. You still need to wait on a line to enter the mansion.

Mostly an outside museum- but quite a bit inside as well- amazing sculptures and scenery. Def. worth a visit- just for the Thinker alone!

If you like sculpture museums, this is the place for you. The setup is great, and the grounds are beautiful.

The gardens are very good and well kept. The statues are interesting with my favorite being the thinker. Worth the visit to the garden at least if you are short of time.

This was recommended by a tourist we met at lunch earlier in the week. We loved the Rodin sculpture garden. However the house had an exhibit of Robert Maplethorpe's works. We are not prudes, but I was not impressed by his works and fail to see what wows everyone about his works. The sculptures by Rodin in the garden are definitely worth your time. There was no charge for the garden, just the house.
