Nice and small museum at a unique area. Our teenager liked it and found a lot of interesting pieces in the place. The gardens are also very nice to visit. Try to avoid hot times (the interior tends to be quit hot and not air conditioned - at least when we visited)

I spent almonst 20 minutes in front of "le penseur". The interior as well as the garden impress. It is a place to visit again and again... I also recommend to spent a time to see the details of "la porte de l'enfer"

If you're pressed for time, you can visit just the outdoor garden at the Rodin Museum and be satisfied. The indoor museum is nice, but unless you're a huge Rodin fan, there's plenty to see and enjoy at just the garden, including The Thinker. (The Kiss is indoors, however.) And it costs less to visit just the garden.

The garden is lovely, beautifully landscaped with flowers and shrubbery. A serene respite from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

There's a small cafeteria-style restaurant that serves reasonably priced sandwiches, salad and desserts. We had a fruit tart there that was delicious.

Musee Rodin was our third art museum included on our museum pass (great investment!). We has seen a traveling exhibit on Rodin in Toronto where we learned a lot about how he was so prolific. Here we saw the results. The many variations on a theme and his well-known statues. The house is fun. You can see Rodin's works and also those he collected. The gardens were enchanting. On a hot, humid day there are places to sit and even a cafe. It was delightful.

We enjoyed this museum with kids aged 9 & 11. Quiet and peaceful gardens. The Gates of Hell and the Thinker engaged the children the most. I liked that a lot of the sculpture was outside and the grounds are delightful. The little cafe seemed to be bustling although we didn’t stop to eat. Worth taking the time even if you only view the outside sculptures.
