Be sure to visit here at night after dark to see the twinkle lights that only last for 5 minutes and shown on the first hour of darkness.

A nice historical place, but nothing that special, as people say about. It is nice place for making some photos and have some walk around. However, it is very overestimated! The tower by itself isn't that big in size and if you aren't a French, it has no any big meaning. During summer probably it is better, and more green. At winter, the place looks grey, but not by weather, it is all people, dirt and other such small things which create not so safe environment around it. Comparing with other European historial places, this is an average one. Definitely must see, when you are in Paris, but nothing special. On contrary, Louvre museum is way better and totally brings satifsation, even with such big amount of people everywhere.

Expect lines...buy cut the line tickets. Incredible views of Paris. Even if you just stand on the grounds and admire this incredible structure...you will create. Any lasting memories of Paris.

This is our second trip to Paris...last time we were able to walk beneath the tower...this time we couldn’t! There is construction all around the tower! They are remodeling the area, the first lawn in the park in front of the tower is blocked to allow for the grass to regrow. You can’t get remotely close to the tower without standing in a huge line to go through security to pay to go up in the tower! We went up last time and told ourselves one and done! You definitely have to experience it at least once...but after that it’s not as special! It’s literally a line to get in a line to get in a line! You wait to buy tickets, stand in line to go through security, stand in line to get on the first elevator that takes you past the first level (where the restaurant is) and it drops you off on the second level to view and then stand in another line to take the second elevator all the way to the top! Once you’re up there and take pictures and soak all the glorious French beauty that the view offers, yup you guessed it! You stand in another line to go back down to the bottom! They crowd as many people as possible so you are packed like sardines, but like I said it truly is a must if you’ve never been! Anyways back to our visit the second go around! I was disappointed we weren’t able to stand beneath this time as that is a cool feeling too! It’s a lot bigger than I ever imagined...I believe it’s eleven (? Don’t quote me) times taller than the space needle! Magnificent!

The park:
Like I said the first lawn is closed to allow for the grass to regrow. The second one looks as though it needs a break too! Lol it’s still nice to sit and just gaze at the Eiffel Tower! Different men with buckets of beer and wine constantly offer you cold refreshments which gets annoying after saying no ten times! Everyone is smoking and getting drunk so not a great place for kids! Lots of drunk and loud idiots but we saw some people pack a picnic spread and drink wine which I thought was a romantic idea!

No bathrooms! There’s two honey buckets which are disgusting...overflowing with urine on the ground!

Watch out for pick pockets!! They are everywhere here!

Tower at night:
It sparkles on the hour for five minutes every hour starting a dusk! DO NOT MISS IT!! How we didn’t know this the first time, I’ll never understand! It is absolutely stunning!
