This place has quite the history of how long it took to be built. Beautiful attraction. A bit of line when we went but worth the wait.

Make sure you have your picture taken at point zero in front of the cathedral. Walk across the plaza and visit the charming book store "Shakepere and Company" and walk through the Latin Quarter. The resturants in the Latin Quarter seem to all be very reasonably prices. All are great for lunch and/or dinner.

The line moves fast.
It's a steady flow in and out.
While your waiting look for the ground zero marking to the right of the doors out about 30ft.
This is the center of Paris.
The cathedral is very impressive.
We paid the 5 euros for the museum.
That's a waste. In and out in 2min.
Just look at the church.
It's incredible!
this is one of the must do's!!!!

I have always wanted to visit here - ever since I took French in the 7th grade. When you walk up to it, the sheer size of Notre Dame is overwhelming. It is hard to get a good picture with a camera unless you walk away from the cathedral some distance. Admission is free and they allow you to take pictures which I thoroughly enjoyed. You can take your time and walk around at your leisure. When I first saw the line, I was dismayed, but realized that it was moving along quickly. Once inside, I forgot about the line and was so glad that we had waited in it.
