It is hard to believe quite how old this actually is and understand how they managed to build it back then.
Worth going to visit even if you only have a short amount of time just to look up at the building and take in some of the detail and go inside and see the beautiful round windows.
There is an exhibition which shows the different stages it was build in and how it has evolved. There are some massive statutes in and then so really modern features that I really didn’t expect. You can even light a candle and pay by card!!!! TVs all over etc.
All in all it’s worth a view to admire the amazing history and architecture.
