“Small, quiet, convenient with friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

An excellent location, walkable to key museums and the Seine and great restaurants. It is quiet, the service is friendly, helping and the facilities are charming, even though it is old and a bit cramped.

Location, personality, service, amenities. They are all here. First the location is ideal. We could walk to the Louve, catch a Batobus on the Seine, stroll over into the Latin Quarter. Second, the hotel is quintessentially French. From the beautiful courtyard, to the grotto bar and breakfast dining area in the basement, to the beautiful decor of the rooms. Third, the staff could not have been more friendly, polite and helpful. They went over and above to arrange a last minute van tour of the city when our plans fell through....even tracking down the driver on his cell who had already left to pick up customers. And lastly, I was so pleasantly surprised by the huge glass shower and fantastic water pressure...so unusual in Europe.

Room Tip: We stayed in a first floor suite which had a very comfortable sitting room and a large bedroom and f...

I asked for a room on an upper floor with a view and got both. The view was of a charming flowered terrace below. Our room was small, but very clean and the bathroom was modern and also very clean. The bar and breakfast are served in a cave below the reception area unless it is warm enough to sit outside on the terrace. The lobby is quite small and there is no restaurant. We like staying in the 7th ARR because it is more quiet, very safe and still quite close to everything. There is a great market street on Cler nearby. We walked everywhere.

Room Tip: You can pay extra for a terrace room.

So glad we followed the recommendation of friends! Great location on a quiet street - small 1st floor room with garden view had fabric covered walls and beautiful modern bathroom. The staff is outstanding. They went out of their way to secure tickets to a sold out concert at Saint Chapelle.
Only downside is the continental breakfast pastries were not very good considering the price. Better to walk down the street to a local patisserie.

The best part of our stay at the hotel was the staff. They were amazing! They were so kind to my 6 year old. The hotel it's self is beautiful and full of charm. It is close to the metro, dinning and the sites. Would absolutely go back.

This is a charming hotel in a great location. The rooms are tres francaise and the location is great! The added bonus is the bathrooms are updated and of reasonable size. Only downside is the walls are thin and the rooms are tiny. But otherwise a great choice.

This was our first trip to Paris and we were so happy that a friend recommended this hotel for our stay. The location is perfect for walking almost everywhere and it is so quiet at night.
Our room was tiny- on the third floor, but that was okay since we were out most of the day.
The bathroom was beautiful and both rooms looked out over the pretty courtyard entrance of the hotel. Despite the fact that some of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and others not so much, I would definitely stay here again.
