Our overall experience has been very positive about Pavillon de la Reine. The location is great. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the sleep quality is very good. Breakfast is excellent especially the waitresses are very charming and helpful. Concierge service could have been better for this type of hotel. We as a family had no problems whatsoever. However, when we arrived to check-in, an elderly couple was having a rather annoying discussion at the hotel reception. After having made their reservation months in advance, the couple just arrived from the USA to find out that their reservation is there but there are no available rooms in the hotel. We witnessed that they were offered a room in a completely different part of Paris and a complimentary spa treatment. Not very pleasing we thought.

This hotel is not for everyone's budget but it's worth it if you want to have an ideal experience in Paris. As soon as you walk in the backyard, you feel transported to another time. Charmed or enchanted would be a good way to describe the feeling. It is so quiet and exquisite. The staff is friendly and very professional, the service is impeccable. The only "but" is the size of the rooms. They are quite small and it might be surprising for someone coming from the US, but you quickly forget about that detail when you look around. The location is perfect, Place des Vosges in the trendy Marais, either you want to go shopping, or enjoying the French cuisine, you can find everything, from designers to fine restaurants, within walking distance.
I went there on business, but I would recommend it for a romantic trip to Paris.

My husband and I just returned from our "babymoon" to Paris, and I wanted to share a few thoughts about this exquisite, charming hotel. It is nestled in a quaint courtyard in the Placa de Vosges in the Marais district, close to the subway (Bastille on Line 1) and some of the best restaurants in Paris that we ate at. The service at this hotel is impecable - the continental breakfast with chocolate croissants, coffee/tea service, cereals and fresh fruit served in the library/study on the main level was the ideal way to start the day. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful especially with making our dinner reservations. Paris is such a beautiful city but can be quite tiring with walking for 6-8 hrs a day 25 weeks pregnant but this hotel afforded a nice oasis to come back to. We hope to return again soon!

We stayed here five nights before Christmas with my husband's parents and in all the holiday craziness upon our return, I forgot to write a review of this exquisite hotel.

First of all, you feel like you are in a design magazine, it's just beautiful inside and out. It's tucked away from the street around the Place des Vosgue so it feels secret and special. The service is outstanding, warm yet professional, just perfect. And of course, it's in such a great location in a vibrant and fun neighborhood. We loved relaxing together with a digestif at the honor bar every evening.

We were upgraded to a suite and it was just gorgeous. You entered into a living room area, then, off a short hall, were three rooms: the bath with separate shower and double sinks (amazing), a separate small toilet room (only thing that was not that great), and the luxurious bedroom with a sumptuous bed.

I cannot say enough good things about Pavillion de la Reine and I would go back in a heartbeat!

We booked the first two nights of a three week Paris stay in Pavillon de la Reine. After a 14 hour flight we were looking for a place that would provide excellent no-fuss service and luxurious accommodation in what we feel is the best quarter in Paris. Some describe Place des Voges as the most beautiful square in Europe and that could well be true.

The hotel arranged for a car to pick us up from Charles de Gaulle. We arrived at 07:00 and they gave us a light breakfast while the room was being prepared. They upgraded the room and we arranged for a massage for us both and a facial for my fiancee for that afternoon.

The room was very elegant but not huge. Super comfortable bed. Quiet. The concierge arranged a taxi and booked our restaurant.

We could not have hoped for a better start to our stay in Paris.
