“Get there early”
Reviewed 30 December 2013

It would be wise to get to the Lourve 30-45 minutes prior to opening. If possible, go thru the mall entrance off of the Metro. If you do not, expect to wait a couple of hours to get in. Download an app for the Lourve because the maps ar not any help. They indicate -2, -1, ground floor, 1, 2.....But what it fails to indicate is that these levels have sub-levels and you may not be on the correct level for area for the color coded numbered rooms.

“Historical Masterpiece at it's best!”
Reviewed 30 December 2013

Learn a lot and I witness great historical pieces of arts and sculptures. Never thought I'll see the infamous painting of Mona Lisa, sculpture of Venus the Milo etc. Ticket fee is worth it! One whole day is not enough to visit and see the entire museum. Don't miss this place.

“My favorite part of Paris”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Absolutely loved it! We went in mid-June on a Saturday, had bought tickets ahead of time, and used the Carousel entrance. We got there at 3:30pm and stayed until it closed (5:30pm). Although we got through it all, you could easily spend at least an entire day there. The pieces in the museum are remarkable!!
PS-if you want to see the Mona Lisa up close, expect to wait in a giant crowd OR get there when the museum opens/stay til it closes.

“Go !”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

So many cool things to see, including the Mona Lisa, but much more than that. Go! Ancient Egyptian, Roman, French, beautiful paintings, etc.
