Nice place, was lovely seeing the glass pyramids! Couldnt believe I was there.

Great shopping centre, a few places to eat, we enjoyed it.

We came on a day trip from disneyland and did the river and eifel tower tour.

Great value!

The line is long for this thing at all times, but if you have the museum pass- which can be purchased at the airport- you can go right to the front of the line. You can do this at many places. I suggest that you go to see the big attractions first. The Egyptian wing was AWESOME!

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling frustrated that this inconceivably enormous museum cannot be conquered in a week, much less a day! Pick your favs to see and everyone else will be there too....then, I suggest pick a wing that interests you and explore and get lost. Getting lost is easy and you will stumble across some happy accidents..like our Venus De Milo surprise. Take advantage of the late night hours to see this museum..leaving it at night and looking into the lighted windows is magical..

it is absolutely breath taking to see the paintings that have been with me in history books all through high school. Paintings the size of a full wall, famous sculptures around every turn. I've been here twice and can't seem to even hit the surface of what is here. The architecture alone is something to see!

Since this is the most massive museum in the world It's impossible to see everything. Make sure you have a map of the museum and know what you want to see in advance. We had the Paris Museum Pass and used it to go past all of the people in line and enter through the group gate. We spent 4 hours checking out our must sees of Venus, Mona and Napoleon. Some tour groups, Paris Walks, offer night tours a few times per month and they might be an option we try the next time we go to Paris.
