This is truly an excellent museum and good value at 12 euros, spend as long or as little time as you want as you will still not visit everything.

Pick your time carefully as it can get very busy and off course everyone wants to see the Mona Lisa (Although this was a little disappointing and thought it could be presented in a better way, but what do I know). First thing in the morning was the best time for us.

Finding your way around this vast museum can be confusing and the staff we spoke to seemed disinterested and did not portray the best image but we quickly forgot them and concentrated on the vast amount of things to see.

Also suggest you buy tickets from the automatic machines as the queues were quite small compared to the ticket offices.

Only other criticism if I dare is that it gets very hot in the Museum and after a few hours becomes quite tiring.

Can't wait to go back, so much to see. It's a necessary part of history. The beauty of the building itself not to talk of the art inside is second to none.
