Fourth trip, and undoubtedly last, to the Louvre. It is crowded beyond belief to the point that ones only desire is to flee.

For any self respecting art lover this museum, along with the Orsay, is a must see. The biggest challenges are the crowds, which can be fairly intense and the desire to try to see everything in a day--a near impossibility. Take moment before you set out to identify the collections you're most interested in seeing. Be prepared to wait awhile to see the Mona Lisa. Don't miss the incredible collection of Persian Art.

This attraction has featured in one of my favourite movies, The Da Vinci Code. So therefore I have to see it everytime I visit Paris.
Its simply beautiful from the outside.

I've been to the museum several times and I definitely recommend it for first timers. Not really interesting to young teenagers as once they've seen the Mona Lisa they lose interest rapidly.

Best little kept secret..... The chocolate truffle shop in the shopping arcade! Treat yourself

The Louvre is incredible We wandered around for 3 hours and there was still more to see The Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo were both a thrill The Louvre was truly an amazing experiance.
The sculptures are exquisite especially the ones in the French section of the Museum. I would definately return to see all that we missed this time. A must do in Paris

The best and biggest museum I've ever been. Impossible to see everything in one day. Recommended going with the museum pass to avoid queues. Most famous masterpieces are crowded.
