Came here on a day there was awful rain but it was still crazy busy to get in. We paid extra to queue jump which please do as we literally walked straight in! It was the middle of August so very busy inside and trying to get to the Mona Lisa is a stampede so prepare to fight your way through. My partner got very annoyed trying to get pictures as people just walk in front all the time but it truly was a beautiful place with so much to see. It's massive, so make sure you alocate a good portion of your day to it.

We arranged an express tour of the Louvre with a personal guide to ensure that we saw some of the most interesting pieces of the collection at the Louvre. Not only did we get to see some of the signature pieces of art (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo), we were oriented to the setup of the Louvre and shown how to navigate this massive institution. Our guide helped us find a side entrance with an extremely short line that allowed us almost immediate entrance even though there was a 45 min wait at the main entrance.
There was so much to see and do, after 90 mins with our guide we spent another 2 hrs wandering the hallways looking at things that we had seen in passing as we were zipping around with the guide. The experience was excellent for the kids and my wife and I loved it.

We got here early and pre-purchased "skip the line" tickets online. We purchased these for all major sites and museums and it was definitely worth it.
I couldn't choose a favorite part or thing I saw but I loved every minute of it! There's so much to see, you won't be bored!

It would take a month everyday to see everything here you get lost in the beauty of this place and the history can't wait to come back

I went to the Louvre as part of a school trip and it was so good
i really enjoyed looking at the artwork which is not something i expected to do considering my age and teenagers generally not too bothered about art
the building itself was massive and very beautiful and somewhere that tourists in paris should go if they get the chance
seeing the mona lisa was amazing although there was a lot of people there it was still amazing to see
