We used this hotel to host a party for our staff from around France. Every thing we asked for was done to perfection.
Showing how professional their staff was.
They gave us some extra rooms for people to use if the are not ready to safely return home. We have a great suite for friends and business associates to meet with us and relax

The staff was very attentive. The hotel incredibly beautiful, level of service was beyond compare, rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The rolling blackout shade was whisper quiet and made the room a sanctuary of blissful darkness for a refreshing nights sleep. Very luxurious without being over the top. Spa was relaxing. Food was delicious, presentation was photo worthy and service for all of our meals was prompt.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room facing the beautiful inner courtyard. It was very quiet and sunny and looked out...

We had the wonderful pleasure of celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary by staying overnight at the George V. It was one of the most memorable pleasures we have ever experienced, and one comes away with a very different experience than usually expected.
The service and warmth generated by the staff was that of a family, and our dining table was strewn with beautiful red roses and candles.
It is in the sheer detail of the George V that makes the greatest impression, from the decor, bedroom, restaurant Le Cinq and, as we were leaving - a couple of bottles of chilled water handed to us in our taxi on that humid day. The evening dinner was, quite literally - sensational and satisfied every sense. Thought is in every fibre of the George V. The flower display was extraordinary, and if you have a chance to take afternoon tea, ask for the wild strawberry tart - I beg for the recipe!
If you wish to experience something very special - go to the George V - it will surpass your expectations.

Room Tip: We stayed in the deluxe room - very French indeed.

We returned to the George V after a 15 year absence; we were so glad we did. The location is terrific as are the service and the quality of the rooms. We had a few unique needs and the staff was more than happy to take care of us. The in-house resurant, Le Cinq is awesome and worth staying in for. The spa is also fabulous. We'll be back, soon.l

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong.

From the moment you enter the hotel you are whisked into an oasis of luxurious calm. The flowers are the first thing you notice, and are stunning.
The concierge team are superb also - we emailed them in advance of our stay to book some restaurants in paris (which are difficult to book) and they ensured the bookings were made, and great tables reserved for us. Every member of staff makes an effort, totally professional but without being stuffy.
We booked a car to meet us from the airport - we were met at the gate off the air bridge from the flight - whisked through security and helped with our luggage, into a waiting car. Seamless.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but this was no issue as we were served complimentary drinks on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful display of orchids overhead, the water feature, and the best bit - people watching.
The room was excellent, one of the most spacious I've stayed in in paris. The bed was supremely comfortable - and the quality of the decoration, bed and bath linen and the facilities were fantastic.
The bar at night was busy and buzzy with amazing cocktails- they aren't cheap but they are worth every penny.
The only minor grumble, was the breakfast, although served in superb surroundings, and with excellent service - was a little average. if we hadn't got it included in our room rate, I would've expected a little more 'wow' factor for the price. That said, the pastries were great.
All in all, an amazing hotel, with superb attention to detail, and some of the friendliest staff in Paris. I would wholly recommend this hotel. We were made to feel very special and every detail was taken care of. Location is superb, rooms superb, staff superb. Its expensive, but rightly so, as its really a level above everywhere else.

Room Tip: We had a corner suite which was full light and had a great aspect.

As a flower lover, when planning a trip to Paris with my partner I couldn't miss the opportunity to see Jeff Leatham's work at the George V. We decided an afternoon tea in the Gallerie would give us a chance to see his work and experience a little luxury in an expensive city.

The service was incredible during our high tea, the wait staff were very obliging, professional and friendly, which was surprising in a city where we had mostly negative contact with Parisians. It probably didn't hurt that the afternoon tea set us back 120 euros but we felt it was well worth it for a few hours in paradise.

And then there was the flowers, just incredible! The staff kindly took a photo of us in the lobby beside the focal point of floral work which was breathtaking! We even saw Jeff hard at work!

I dare say we will pinch pennies in order to stay in this hotel on our next visit.
