“Crowded and space-limited”
Reviewed 3 September 2014

Very touristic, very crowded and overwhelming. We have visited Galeries Lafayette also in the past but maybe this was our last attempt to do so. Surely you can find anything you wish, but are you sure that this is the place you want to search for? Paris being the metropolis of fashion and with amazing and well-designed stores and boutiques, shopping in Galeries Lafayette is according to me a very bad choice. Even if you want to visit a shopping mall, there are better places to do so in Paris than Galeries Lafayette.

“Beautiful old building, rooftop view”
Reviewed 2 September 2014

Amazing 6 floors, just worth it for the Dome and rooftop view over Paris, from the restaurant you can see an amazing view of the Sacre Coeur Church high on a hill. There is an amazing air ballon installation there at the moment

“It's a nice view”
Reviewed 2 September 2014 via mobile

This is an upmarket shopping centre with all the high end brands you'd expect in Europe - under one very magnificent stained glass ceiling. The ceiling is amazing, the shopping is like any other mall except you need lots of Euros! Go to level 7 and check out the rooftop view over paris. We enjoyed lunch here and just took it all in.

“So pretty, but it is just a shopping centre.”
Reviewed 1 September 2014

I bought a couple of items here, and definitely took photos, but it is essentially just a really pretty shopping centre in a historical building. Enter it from the underground station in its basement.

“Go to the roof for the best view”
Reviewed 1 September 2014

Go to the roof for the best free view in Paris. We had a bottle of wine at the restaurant, where you could rest and enjoy as long as you'd like. What a find!
