“Decadent and delicious chocolates with good service”
Reviewed 18 December 2012

We stopped in here walking around the area. The windows are too appealing to miss and the inside is no different. You'll discover gorgeously decorated gifts of chocolate and courteous and informative service. As with all luxury chocolates (regardless of country of origin) it's pricey. The taste is excellent and the appeal of the packaging is undeniable. Be sure to check the actual weight of the chocolate inside the item you're purchasing as it may be mostly package weight as opposed to actual chocolates. Stick with buying the items you can see the quantity inside. Also, the staff offers free samples after your purchase, which certainly softens the sting of the price. Enjoy!

“superior chocolate at a fair price (not cheap)”
Reviewed 27 December 2011

I've been shopping here since 2004. Every time I buy gifts the recipients are pleased. I'll confess that I always pick something up for myself. The truffles are good, even the blocks of chocolate are dazzling.

This is not cheap but worth every cent you pay. The staff are helpful, and offer samples after purchase.

“Darling place, decadent treats, personable service”
Reviewed 11 February 2011

My husband and I stumbled apron this chocolatier as we were discovering the neighborhood surrounding our hotel. It is located to the left of Trinite church. Through the window, we were lured in by the beautiful chocolates. The gift boxes themselves are made of chocolate! The young man there was able to help us despite our near non-existent French skills. I wanted to buy 4macarons and he obliged though most items are sold by the 100 grams. In addition to the chocolate and pistachio macarons, we bought some very good chocolates. And I WILL most certainly return to buy more macarons... They were melt-in-your-mouth delicate and so delicious!

“dear and good”
Reviewed 10 December 2010

Indeed the chocolates are good. Very good. Yet they are dear!
I have ordred chocolates there for the past 15 years both for Christmas and for Easter.
When you buy a presentation (basket or mug, etc.) there is indeed a lot of paper and you pay according to the weight and to the price of the container...
The best is to buy a ready made box (ballotin) where there is 95% ocf chocolate and only 5 % of paper!

“what you can't see”
Reviewed 11 October 2005

Although the chocolate looked (and tasted) good, we were very embarrassed and disappointed when the basket of candy we purchased as a gift for colleagues turned out to be 2/3 paper. The basket was 4 cm deep but 3 cm of it was crushed paper. It looked great in the display but the amount of candy in the basket was paltry. There was no way to tell in the store that so little chocolate was contained in the basket. So much for our gourmet (and expensive) chocolates!
