“A surprisingly great museum”
Reviewed 11 June 2012

I'm a girl & don't care too much for armies. But the lines to the Dome Church were too long & so we went to the WWI & WWII collections & they were fascinating -- the French uniforms, the videos brought the collections to life. This wasn't on my itinerary but it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable museums we visited.

“Worth a few hours of your time”
Reviewed 11 June 2012

The Musee de l'Armee didn't draw us in on our first trip to Paris but on the second it did and was well worth the time. A tour through leaves on a little more informed of the history and glory of France. ... well worth half a day at least.

“The French perspective of WW11”
Reviewed 11 June 2012

Saw Napolean's tomb, and then went into the exhibition of WW1 & WW2. Very well done, and much of it in english. Interesting to see the French view of the 2 wars. My children and wife were so fascinated by it all, that they took nearly 2 hours to walk through the several floors when we had originally said we were not going to stay long !

“Good for the whole family”
Reviewed 11 June 2012

This was an excellent museum to visit and while some off the material can be difficult or inappropriate for young children, these types of museums with uniforms and machines tend to keep the kids interested as opposed to just art.
