Arrived in Paris post 5 night adventure in London. What a great location. In the center of the Louvre. Great cafes', shopping with ease of transportation.

Our room was quite large and appropriately appointed with all the the amenities you come to expect from a Hyatt property. Staff were most kind and helpful.

Definitely the place to be......

Room Tip: Look for the little hidden elevator (lift) that is tucked away near the restaurant.

We were guests in this hotel from March 6 through the11th. The room was small and grungy we asked for a courtyard view which they gave but it was on the noisy side of the courtyard and the windows do not do an adequate job of keeping the noise out. The staff were just barely polite. The breakfast was Norte than enough. Location as good because we could walk to the louvre and some great shopping and qthe Tuileries. The bed was not great. Would not stay here again. Also at checkout our bill had many errors, which were not in our favor.

Room Tip: Stay away fromythe front courtyard

Pros:
ideal location -- metro right outside and central to sights
clean and comfortable
rooms have personality
sweet balcony
charmingly old fashioned

Cons:
pricey
old fashioned means charming but also that not everything works perfectly (e.g, walls could use soundproofing, no hot water getting ready for dinner)

I'd stay here again and recommend it to friends. If you need absolute perfection or uber-luxury this is not the place.

This is such a classy hotel and absolutely beautiful. Minutes from the Louvre of course, but also walking distance to Notre Dame. But yes, expensive. It's in a very busy location so you might want a room at a higher level so you do not hear any street noise. Great views from many of the rooms too.

This Hyatt hotel has personality in the decor and has old style fashionable facilities. In combination with maybe the best location in Paris, it is well worth a stay, but get a room facing the city...The hotel could use upgrades of some of the interior, and the staff was friendly but a bit too busy at times. Minibar is porly equipped and not very good coffee/tea possibilities in the room, evening restaurant menu is simple and french traditional but very tasty. Breakfast is very good but could be more variable on cheeses for example. Fantastic king size bed! . All in all a very pleasant stay but some room for improvement on service and eye for the detail.

Room Tip: get a city facing room

Right next to the Louvre and central to everything. This grand palace of a hotel is everything you would expect it to be. Gracious, elegant, demure and all the other French words we Anglicized, describe this hotels attributes. Cafes, brasseries and specialty shoppes are everywhere. Walk to the Seine, d'Orsay , Notre Dame ( great cafés and restaurants in Isle Saint-Louis right behind the church). This is a Paris hotel in the grand style, Joie de vivre!!!

I booked this hotel as I wanted a really good quality and location.

The location is second to none and having lived in paris previously I was very keen to stay very centrally.

I emailed the hotel in advance to request if possible a room with a view, we were allocated a 1st floor room looking into an inner well.

I appreciate that you can't always honour requests but this was a disappointment, as was the room it was nothing like the website. It was clearly a floor that had not yet been refurbished. The room needed painting there were chips in the wall. The carpets needed replacing and there was no literature at all in the room, plug sockets not in the tight places.

On the positives possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

For me a hotel is won or lost on the warmth of the people working in it. this was unfortunately missing throughout as was any attention to detail in the building.

Stunning location all the same

Room Tip: Don't stay on 1st floor
