Owner description: Restaurant, piano bar, cabaret, live music nested in a medieval vault of the XIIIth century, at the heart of the Latin Quarter.

Over the years I have visited this place several times. At the ground floor there’s the dining room where you can have a good dinner accompanied with lovely piano music. However, if you’re looking at real good and tangible vibrations, than go downstairs where outrageous live music set will take you till the dawn. Any night of the week is funny but over the w-e you’ll get the really best.
Better to reserve in advance, the place is always busy.

It is one of the most fantastic places to go - any day if the week in Paris. Jazz bar/restaurant upstairs and cabaret downstairs in the old dungeon. It's very authentic and the food is good, the music better and they won't remove you till 7am if you are prepared to get on stage in the early mornings. If you get the chance or don't have anything else to do - just don't miss it.

arrived after dinner around 9:30 and sat near the piano. ordered a quarter bottle of wine for 13 euro and spent two hours listening to violin, piano and singing. it was fun and felt like things were just getting started when we left at 11:30.

This place was recommended to us by our brilliant "chauffeur" Youssef (+33659605810).

we went to the Crazy Horse and where explaining that we found it rather "ok" and didn't realise that is was basically a glorified strip club.

Youssef, said ill take you to "aux trois mailletz" tomorrow night for dinner if you like ... we were stetted by choice outside, only to realise as we raised our eyes that we had the cathedral Notre Dame as a view (OMG, the bragging material to envy all your friends MWhahaha).

we asked their advice on a couple of dishes on the stack, and by all gods i have never had such a good pepper steak sauce. (still licking my lips thinking about it) we asked for a bottle of red wine and said they could choose any of the of ones they had from their cellar. A lovely pinot noir from the Cotes du rhones... desert and all came to around 100 euros.

We went down to the underground to listen to the bands, it was really great to hear different people singing in their language, a fantastic melting pot of culture. the only thing i wasnt aware of was that there was a fee to watch the show, my mistake for not asking i guess.

over all i would go back again.

The location is nice with a cellar downstairs. The service was not prompt and unfriendly but you got what you ordered to substantially upscale prices. A Spanish singer with his band was performing, because his performance was so poor, he needed two blonde dancers to be accompanied.
After 10 minutes you could not look at it and we left. The presented invoice included € 25 per person for this poorest performance I ever saw. But that was not all, paying by credit card the first transaction was cancelled, so they said us, so we had to start it again. Coming home we saw the amount was charged twice. Now we also know, why there were so few guests and no French.
