If you want a quality experience, in a beautiful environment with cordial and professional service....look no further than the Hotel de Vendome. This small luxury hotel is one of Paris's best kept secrets. The accommodation is luxurious, the cuisine superb, and the central city location ideal for tourists.

Hotel de Vendome is a comfortable, convenient small hotel, ideally located for exploring Paris on foot. It's about ten minutes walk to several Metro stations, and the location on Place Vendome is near the Tuileries and the Opera. While the hotel does not have a restaurant on site, there are many restaurants within a short walk, especially on the nearby Place du March St. Honore. The rooms are fairly quiet and the hotel has a good complement of services (breakfast buffet, WiFi etc.) with no major oversights. Most of all, the staff is friendly and welcoming.

My companion and I stayed at this hotel for six nights in mid-April. First we were given a room at the top floor with windows high up on the wall with no view. Next day we were moved to a room on the lower floor. This room was much better with a street view and also much larger. The hotel is a very nicely managed small boutique hotel. We were on a bed basis only so didn't have any idea about breakfast which was rather expensive. There is a nice place for breakfast across the hotel. Everything about the room was very good. Location was good for oıur purposes and it was about 10 minutes walk to the metro station. One very good thing about this hotel is that it is completely soundproof with a set of windows and we didn't hear any noise from the street. The front desk people were very kind and helpful.

My husband and I stayed for three weekday nights and had a wonderful time based at this hotel. The location just off the Place Vendome is perfect for shopping and sightseeing, and only a short taxi ride from the Gare du Nord. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, despite the busy shopping street below. The little first floor bar is perfect for a glass of champagne before going out and the waiters are very charming. Even if your French vocabulary abandons you, their English is excellent anyway. The reception staff were efficient and very good at producing taxis when required. It was all very friendly, clean and well organised. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at Hotel de Vendome on 4 occasions, most recently in November 2013 whilst on a 5 week trip to France, and as usual everything was perfect. This is a great central location in Paris, luxurious and right by the shopping district. I really just came back to say thanks to the wonderful staff who are always so friendly, and have given us unasked for free upgrades on a couple of occasions. It is these sorts of touches that breed client loyalty. Hope to see you guys again soon!

This is a delightfully small Luxurious hotel and Seems to be a well-kept secret in the centre of the city,

It is an 18th-century mansion on Place Vendome. And has around 30 stunningly decorated rooms. The restaurant is again small but with an up and coming new chef they serve amazing food. a wonderful selection of wine, champagne and cocktails are available at the bar.

It's Location is In the 1st arrondissement in the centre of Paris, Within easy walking distance of all major attractions.......Notre Dame, The Louvre are very close and Musee d"Orsay is a straight walk through the Tuilerie Gardens. Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées are also close enough to walk.
The Hotel is directly located in the Jewellery quarter with many famous names Dior, Channel, Chopard etc close by. So if you want to be in the centre of Paris this Hotel is a must.

Elaborate chandeliers, antique furniture, art deco styling and fine art are found throughout Hotel creating an overall atmosphere of sophistication.

We arrived on St Valentines day without an evening booking at a restaurant and although it was a challenge the concierge triumphed and book a lovely romantic venue that we truly enjoyed.

This Hotel is a Member of The Small Luxury Hotels Of The World and deserves this title. Not only for the fabulous venue but also for the professional management.

well what can I say...just beautiful! Rooms were divine, beds and pillows were very comfortable, bathroom was huge with spa bath. Staff were excellent and very friendly. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean . central to everything and can't wait to go back.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Built in 1723 by Pierre Perrin, the Sun King's secretary, this elegant building was in turn a private residence and a seat of government, then in 1842 the embassy of the young Republic of Texas whose independence France was the first to recognise. The square is named from the fact that n°1 was the site of the former Vendome family residence. Three centuries of art, culture and elegance make it a unique address in Paris. Today the place Vendome is the temple of Parisian jewellery, and gives onto Paris's most brilliant quartier, with its haute couture, antique dealers, art galleries, the Opera and the Louvre museum. The Hotel de Vendome is thus a unique jewel, on a par with all the precious stones in the vicinity. ... more   less
