Small quiet square with maybe 7 cafe/bistros. Out of the three we ate at, we would recommend two. We ate once at la Terrasse Sainte Catherine. Very good honest food, good service. Ate twice at Bistrot de la Place, good food, very good value, good service

This must be one of the most picturesque and untouched corners of Paris. Lots of small and reasonably priced cafes and restaurants frequented by locals, Tucked away just off busy shopping street,.it is sheltered from the wind you can sit outside in winter sunshine. The apartments overlooking the square are still lived in by ordinary families and children play in the square. It is like being on the set of a film of old Paris, and feels much more authentic than Montmartre..

This square would make a great hub for your holiday explorations in paris. In the Marais quarter on the right bank.

Small and intimate with a mix of inviting restaurants and bars, above which are private residencies.

Hotels close by are the Hotel Jeanne d'arc.
Hotel Practic,
Hotel Moderne,
Hotel du Septieme Art.

A lovely spot for unwinding after your busy days' shopping and sight seeing.
