Pleasant and never makes you feel in a hurry. We visited with family and were made to feel quite welcome.

“The convenient bistro around the corner from my hotel...”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Had dinner last night, as we stayed around the corner. Lovely night, so we sat at sidewalk with mostly french customers smoking non stop (this is Fran, after all, everybody smokes, even babies...second hand smoke, that is). We had a goat cheese salad and a croque madame, they were fine, and then a cheese plate. A beer and a glass of wine. Service was ok, the waiter was obviously mega busy as the place was packed.
It was just an OK experience honestly, if you are in the area give it a shot as the neighbourhood is sort of touristy and there must be bad restaurants around. A safe bet.

“Great Place for a Drink”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This was our favorite watering hole while on vacation in Paris this month. We went to Le Bonaparte four times in a week! Great people watching, great service, and clean bathrooms! They also have food, although we never ordered anything, people around us seemed to be enjoying great dishes. Decent wine/beer list. Will go again next time I'm in Paris.

“Avoid”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Stopped in for a cocktail after dinner as they touted their professional bartender on the menu. Ended up paying close to $40 for two very mediocre cocktails; my husband's Sidecar (a drink we're very familiar with) was more or less pure lemon juice and so little liquor that neither of us could tell if it had any in it at all. My drink was slightly better, but certainly not worth the price. Will not return.

“Nice setting and good food”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

Authentic retro decoration inside and good food with several healthy salads and other lunch options. I went with my wife and the lunch bill was €70 for a main course, a desert and a Perrier each which we felt was a little high even for Parisian standards. Nonetheless, a good option when in the Boulevard St-Germain area for tasteful food and a nice setting.
