“Good for kids if visiting in the summer”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

I have seen this garden in winter and summer and both experiences are very different. I admit, my experience in the winter was a bit disappointing although it was still a nice garden. In the summer, it is full of life and a very nice, shady place to walk in. There are many spots to just sit and picnic, which many people do. There are also many rides, such as a large ferris wheel, and food stands. That experience was a bit like being at a small amusement park except with a view of the Eiffel Tower and Louvre.

“Just a garden to chill”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Bought a sandwich from nearby and sat out by one of the fountains. Tranquil and serene gardens to chill and enjoy the cool weather.

“Great stop!”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

This is worth a stop if you are visiting Le Louvre, coming out of the museum towards l'Arc du Carousel. You have a magnificent view of La place de la concorde right up les Champs Élisées towards l'Arc du triomphe. Beautiful garden!

“take a walk”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Take a walk from Place de Concorde to Luvre. It is also nice to sit by the pool and enjoy a sunny day and the views.

“Beautiful garden”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

We walked from the Louvre to the Place de la Concorde through the garden. The flower beds are beautiful, and the garden's sculptures are lovely. We stopped at the Musee de L'Orangerie, which is in the garden. We then stopped for lunch at one of the open air cafes in the garden, which was a lovely place to eat. We sat at a table to be waited on, but it looked like you could just buy your own sandwich and sit elsewhere in the garden. It made for a beautiful afternoon, and a wonderful way to get to several tourist attractions. The carnival looking area with the Ferris Wheel was unimpressive, but it had a bathroom available (pay). All in all, a lovely day.
