I stayed at this hotel from 5 Feb to 8 Feb, got a very reasonable 3-night deal from the hotel's website.
Pre-stay: Got a confirmation email promptly from the hotel after making a booking from the hotel's website. Subsequent email correspondence was pleasant and I got replies no later than a day.
During stay: Check-in was smooth and fast, there is a glass lift for use if you have heavy luggage. The bell boy helped bring my luggage to my single room and he even showed me how to switch on the lights in the room and in the wardrobe. The lights can be made dimmer or brighter, creating the perfect mood you want be it for reading or watching tv. Room was very spacious with space for my luggage and it has a writing table, chair, flat screen tv, mini fridge(items chargeable) and a super single bed with four fluffy pillows! The room comes with an ensuite bathroom with a separate space for toilet. I love the bathtub, perfect for a good soak after a long day outside. The toiletries provided were good, essentials like shower gel, shampoo, bath salts, cotton pads and soap were provided. Shower water's temperature and pressure are consistent. Housekeeping was fantastic, there is a sign that you can hang outside the room door to indicate if you want the room to be made up or if you prefer not to be disturbed, so no awkward situation when they appear during your sleep in. The hotel is in a quiet area and I had very good sleep every night. Had breakfast once in the hotel and I find the food not fantastic, the omelette looks like scrambled eggs, so I suggest having breakfast at Cafe St Regis just down the street. The hotel staff were all very friendly and warm and were happy to converse in English. You can even buy Museum Passes at the reception desk! Very convenient if you want to avoid long queues at the airport or train station. Also, the reception can help you make reservations for restaurants and taxis if you need, nothing is too much trouble for them. I had my luggage stored at the hotel while I wander around the city, waiting for my evening train.
Post-stay: I really miss Paris and staying at Hotel du Jeu de Paume, this hotel makes me feel so welcomed and I will stay here again for the comfort, peace and ideal location should I visit Paris. I highly recommend this hotel for those who want to enjoy staying on the tranquil St Louis island.
