First time to Paris and unfortunately it was for just one night but this hotel made it a perfect experience. Check-in was perfect as we were brought straight to our room. We'd driven from London so this was most welcome. Friendly, professional, efficient staff. The suite was STUNNING - so much room - balconies on 2 sides. Beautiful furnishings and fittings. I had my dog with me and they'd even left out a bowl and bed for him. It really is the little things and there was nothing missing in this room. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. Fabulous and just a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Checking out the next morning - the bellboy had even cleaned my car windows - now that is service.

You will really feel that you are in Paris if you stay at the Shangri La. You will get the best view of the Eifel Tower. I dont think any other place will match the view you get from Shangri La.

The Hotel has a nice small majestic entrance. At arrival the staff welcomes you and takes you directly to your room, were you are checked in. The rooms have a nice french style. The rooms are new. You get everything you need in the room. Free Evian water bottle every day at your bed, a bvlgari shower set.

I never wanted to leave the hotel, because of the nice view from the balcony, and you can have a nice espresso watching the Eifel tower.

The breakfast room had and an elegant and classic style, with a beautiful chandlier hanging.

The hotel is less then 10 minutes to the Eifel tower walking, and also 15 minutes to the Champs Elysee

If I come again, I will surely stay here.
Ask for the higher floors 5 and above for the best view of the Eifel tower.

We treated ourselves to Christmas Eve and Christmas Night at the hotel. Expensive but a highlight of our trip to Paris. Our family saying with regards to hotel accommodation is now "it's not quite the Shangri La" the bar has been set very high! We loved every bit of it and couldn't fault a thing. From the freshly baked brioche and handmade chocolates to the leather covered head rest in the bath tub - just beautiful!

Took 3 rooms here on a staff treat over the weekend and to be honest from the moment I walked in the door to the moment we left, the whole experience was faultless. The staff were most attentive, the food was top of the tree and the surroundings were as you would expect for a Bonaparte Palace "breathtaking". Ok don't go here on a budget because I have no time for people who go to places like this and then complain about the cost, because you should know that before you book. And yes it's expensive but too be honest Paris is expensive and I for one would return if I get the chance. So 10/10 for the Shangri-LA and please keep on doing what you are doing guys because I can see why your expensive, hospitality like this doesn't come easy.

I took my girlfriend to Parus for he first time in her life and wanted it to be special - after all I had planned to propose to her and where better on a terrace at the Shangri La looking at he Eiffel Twoer.

The hotel is truly exceptional in very way. The room was beautiful and had a nice bathroom, wardrobe area and dressing room as well as a lovely bedroom. The star was the terrace with one of the best views in Paris.

The staff were excellent and did a great job in preparing the room for our return from the Jules Verne restaurant. I had asked for red roses, rose petals and champagne on ice. The roses were beautiful and caused a few diifficulties getting them home afterwards as we couldn't leave hem.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Didn't eat at he other restaurants but they all looked great.

This is by far he most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in and it was the best.

Perfect for a romantic weekend so if you have he money you won't be disappointed.

Hope to go back one day!

I loved my experience in Paris in this Hotel. Lovely and quiet while still across from the 7th and close to the 1st. The view- as with all Shangri-La hotels is unmatched. The price for 4 nights at €1,200 per night was high since the spa and pool were unfinished, but the service was very welcome. The car picked us up from Paris Nord on time (and in somewhat embarrassing fashion-which we loved!) and whisked us away to Central. The driver was fantastic and spoke pleasant English, while very forgiving of my abominable French.

Entry was very pleasant with attentive staff to handle every aspect of our arrival. Our room was wonderful, with a balcony to overlook the Seine and Eiffel Tower.

Simply breathtaking. It was a wonderful wandering point. Will stay here again. Soon.
