We spent a week at this hotel in April 2014. it was pretty great. The rooms were smaller than US rooms, but clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice and i recommend getting it in the room package. What really set this place apart was the staff: everyone was helpful, spoke at least some English, and friendly. Whether it was directions, or setting up a tour, or general info every staff member made you feel like a special guest. The only minor complaints were that the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and the huge Les Halles renovation project next door made getting around a bit more tricky and confusing, but these are minor. We got a 'superior' family room and it was a bit tight, but everyone was comfortable. Oh, the little neighborhoods immediately surrounding this hotel consist of small grocery stores, bakery's cafe's and more little restaurants than we could count. This place is 10 to 20 minute walk from many major sights and right near the Metro. For a first time visitor to Paris, we couldn't have asked for a better location and convenience!

Very nice room, clean. Try to get a high floor room, then you can see the Eiffel Tower from your window ;-)
Location is great, just next to the subway station with many subway lines.
Breakfast is small, but fine.

We stayed at this hotel in with two children aged 14 and 16 during the Easter Holidays. The hotel location is brilliant with easy access from CDG (direct RER train to Les Halles). We were in one of their older rooms but it was nice and clean and even with a view to Sacre Ceur. This hotel is very family friendly with delicious breakfast (they had pretty much everything). The central location with metro just below and dining and shopping in Marais has only one disadvantage, the construction of Les Halles. It didnt make any noice, but made the access a little bit tricky, once finished I assume they will have a small piazza outside the hotel. We will recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Paris not wanting to spend their money on sleeping, but rather on sightseeing and dining.

Just back from Les Halles. We (my husband and two girls (aged 11&13 yrs) stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Perfect in everyway. Room clean and serviced with fresh sheets and towels everyday. The staff could not have been more helpful. They constantly gave us maps and directions. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great- huge selection and everything was fresh. Girls entertained with balloon modelling. The hotel is perfectly situated for easy walking distance to le louvre and notre dame. We even managed to walk to arc de troimphe and return via the metro.sacre coeur is also worth a trip on the metro. There is a lot of construction outside the hotel - restoration project within the area but heard no noise. The only problem we encountered was getting from the station to the hotel late at night. The escalator access was limited and we had to haul heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs.
