The hotel is very close to the metro station but a huge construction project in the area muddles the geography somewhat. The hotel itself is clean through out and the rooms were spotless. Our experience was marred somewhat by our first room having lots of bugs that wrre getting in to the room via the air conditioning system. It was reported to staff, and the room was sprayed but the critters came back quickly so I requested an alternative room. Unfortunately, the alternative room was a smoking room and as non-smokers the smell of tobacco hit us hard. They provided us with a very effective spray to temporarily neutralise the smell. The sofa bed unfortunately had not been made up so for the 4 nights of our stay, my daughter and I shared the double bed. The pillows were very soft but the mattress was firm and just to our liking.

Breakfast is buffet style with everything from boiled eggs to pancakes and maple syrup. Be prepared for queues between 8-10 ish for breakfast though. They do have a very good magician/illusionist at breakfast to keep both children and adults amazed. Overall, the staff are helpful, friendly and speak English which I apprecited as my French is poor. Checkout however is a very slow process with only 1 receptionist on duty in the morning until a considerable queue formed in which a second one was bought in. Considering guests are likely to want to check out before the 11 am deadline to quit their rooms, arrangements should have been better. Double check your bill on checkout to ensure you are not been charged for extras such as free internet or mini bar soft drinks.

As I mentioned before, there is some construction work going on around the hotels environs so from 10 am or so, it can be very noisy along with vibrations.

Overall a great hotel and I will stay there again on my next visit to Paris.

Very comfortable mattress and pillow. Amazing shower heads. Good bathroom size considering this is Paris. Liked the fact that toilet was separate from bathroom. Very quiet even though les Halles is in the middle of major renovation.(probably top of the line windows). Might be more noise if you want to sleep in, but let's face it, who wants to sleep in when you're in Paris? You're here to visit and enjoy the day as much as you can. Reasonable room size. (Once again, being Paris, we were afraid the rooms were going to be smaller). Drapes were making the room as dark as can be. Very limited closet/hanging space. It is located right next to the Louvre (5min on foot), St Eustache. The subway is right outside the door. So location is quite perfect. We only ate breakfast there. For the price breakfast is reasonable, but definitely lacks variety. The only negative point was that the access to the hotel was difficult for us to find because of the Halles renovations. We went in circles many times with our rented car before we realized there was no access to the hotel by car. (If there's one, we couldn't find it). So we ended up parking our car in the St Eustache parking, and dragged our luggage from there to the hotel. (Not too bad). We also discovered that the St Eustache parking was slightly cheaper than the parking recommended by the hotel (was 60 eur for 3 days). Personnel: some very nice, some in need of personality adjustment. But at least they speak english.

Room Tip: you might want to contact the hotel directly to book, as I think all their rooms are not available o...

The hotel was in excellent condition, modern and smelt nice. TV in the room was large and very good quality except that there were no entertainment channels in English.
Its location is very central with metro stations within walking distance.
Breakfast was very good, enjoyed the baguettes and croissants a lot.
The phone in the room was not working and wasn't fixed despite numerous complaints and the pillows felt cheap and were very uncomfortable. This spoilt the experience for us.

Poor plan of the room (I stayed in a family suite). Toilet does not have a wash basin. Poorly ventilated rooms and toilet.

Slabs, table protrude from unusual angles in the walls and floor, respectively, and, thus, the room was not child friendly.

I stayed here for 3 nights in August. It was a birthday treat and as I have stayed ay many Accor hotels in the past and this is a 4 star rated hotel I thought it would be a safe bet. I can only say that the actual location is good for visiting the usual spots. Good transport links etc. abound as in most of Paris. The hotel is pretty basic and doesn't do much for the soul. Reception staff are polite and all speak good English. Bar is a simple affair, one of the female bar staff could do with a personality transplant.

I had breakfast one morning and there was a queue. My wife had breakfast each morning and it was the same. Didn't seem to make much difference what time one comes down, it's constantly busy. There are building works all around the hotel at present while they renovate Les Halles. This almost totally circumferences the hotel and from 08h30 / 09h00 the each morning you can hear the digging and drilling. It's a large construction site so no surprises there but it can hinder your sleep if you want to sleep in. I found it a very family orientated hotel so might not be ideal for couples or the like. Businessmen wouldn't mind if the location is suitable to their visit. A very busy hotel .....

The garden / outside area is used mainly by smokers and not a lot by people looking to have breakfast or having drinks outside. The photographs of the outside must have been taken years ago as it most certainly does not resemble that loom today.

just returned from a two night stay in paris and i have to say that location wise this hotel cannot be beaten as it places you in the heart of paris. The rooms are the usual novotel standard, clean reasonably pleasant not quite luxurious, and the staff are efficient and friendly. Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to the sheer number of people, however they had a magician type fellow who kept the kids entertained while waiting for a table. all in all I would return.
