Following a recent visit, December 15th 2013 I felt I wanted to provide some honest feedback.
The hotel is in a good location and has great kerb appeal, the entrance and reception are charming.
Unfortunately that's where the positive comments end. Check in was slow, the young lady who checked us in was under pressure as other guests were waiting, she admitted she wasn't the receptionist!
Our room wasn't ready, fair enough we left our luggage and returned later.
Our room, was very disappointing, it was small old and dark!
In my opinion Warwick hotels, need to spend some serious money updating this 4 star hotel!
I don't mind old world charm, but this was just old!!
The furniture was dark and scratched, the headboard banged on the wall when in bed.
The bathroom was dated, with discoloured filing around the bath which made it look unclean!
The TV was small with very limited channels.
For the amount of money they charge you can do much better. I had stayed at
at the Baltimore Hotel the previous night, and was wishing I was back there!
I have stayed in 400 hotels around the world, 175 being 4 star.
