I was trevalling with my daughter and mother - there for 9 nights. We chose this hotel as reviews were consistantly "very good" and (although slightly further from main tourist areas) has a bit more square footage in the room when comparing online. We were very happy with the staff (Hugo was exceptionally helpful getting us checked in), rooms were clean, and a wide variety of breakfast items to please everyone.
Breakfast - did not vary daily - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, crousants, pain au chocolate, jams, cheeses, baguette, breads (including gluten free), fruit (orange, grapefruit, and pineapple), yogurt with sauce to add, a couple of sliced meats, make your own eggs, make your own pancakes, 3 juices (orange is so good), and a serve your own coffee machine (including hot chocolate).. really if you can't find something you like, your expectations may be high.
train/metro station - so easy to get around. We got so we could use the metro without looking things up to get back to the hotel. Everything took about 20 minutes to get to by metro, but was so easy to use. It is also just 1/2 hour or so to walk to the latin quarter.
Room itself - the only complaint I would have would be about amenities. I had brought my own shampoo, luckily, otherwise I would have been using an all in one shampoo body wash (not great for hair!), soap was small cakes that they did not replace daily, toilet paper was small little rolls that I think they rationed!.. so we had to ask for more a couple of times, and facecloths... I was told at the front desk that they did not have any, however a nice cleaning lady found some for me (but did not replace daily... so again rationed). There was a mini fridge in the room as well, which was handy. We were able to go to the little store in the courtyard and get a couple of juices and waters for the next day. Finally, shower - always nice hot water with lots of pressure, but the water tended to spray on the floor since it was a half door.
All in all, I would go there again as it was very convenient.
