We were a bit disappointed about the apartment looking very dated, unlike pictures from the booking websites, but everything else was fine. We knew they don't have fresh towels everyday but 2 towels per person for 4 nights was enough. Kitchen utensils were sturdy, although working the stove was pure guess work as the panel was so scratched up it was impossible to tell where was "off" or "high". Sofa bed was a bit lumpy but sheets were fresh and pillows comfy. Receptionists spoke good English and were helpful.

Franprix supermarket just across the street, and the better Carrefour on Didier, helped us save some money on meals. The bakery at the end of Chaligny is well stocked and busy. Subway entrance at Chaligny and Didier (but if you need to buy tickets it's at the next block.) Also enjoyed the O'Philos Off bistro at Didier.

Would I come back? maybe not, if we can find something nicer looking at the same price we may go for that instead.

Basic but clean hotel. Close to metro and good restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Apartment only had one mirror in the bathroom which was a challenge when everybody tries to get ready to go out at the same time. Our landing was being painted whilst we were there which meant we had to avoid wet paint, tread carefully on plastic floor covering and put up with walls being sanded at 8am!

Stayed here for 9 days and was not disappointed. Kitchenette was well equipped, room was very clean. This hotel is around the corner from the metro which was very handy. There are plenty of little restaurants to try and a wonderful bakery at the corner that had the best pastry. There is also a grocery story across the street which was well stocked and pretty much offered anything you might need while visiting. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Our family of four stayed in a one bedroom apartment in September. The rooms were a bit small, but having the kitchenette was very handy with a kettle, microwave and fridge. Also, we could go out onto the small balcony and leave the door open while we were in the room to get some fresh air. Rooms could do with an upgrade, but the location and staff were great. There're many dining options within walking distance, and the metro is just round the corner. When we booked we were told that the rooms aren't serviced daily so that wasn't a problem for us. It's good value for Paris and we would stay here again.

After seeing the pictures of the hotel in their advertisements, our apt. did not look at all like the pictures shown. The first apt. we were given had a hole in the bedroom wall, chipped paint and mold in the bathroom, the heaters did not work and the woodwork was full of chips. After expressing our dissatisfaction of our apt.we were were given a different room on the second day of our visit. We still had trouble with the heaters and there was still mold on the paint in the bathroom. We could not get the t.v. to broadcast in English and were given a different one.We also found the furniture, particularly the sofa, very uncomfortable. The hotel staff was most helpful and the hotel is in an excellent location, close to many good restaurants, bakers and grocery store. The metro is just around the corner. The cafe across the street is also excellent!

Last year we spent 9 days at this location and this year just returned from a 10 day holiday. For the amount of time you are actually in the room why do you need a 5 Star hotel with exorbitant rates. This hotel/apt has the perfect location in a quiet residential neighbourhood with Metro (#1 and #8 line) just up the street, on a bus route and train station not that far away. There is no daily maid service and towels/sheets only changed if you are on an extended stay. Small kitchen with all the necessities (fridge microwave dishwasher) plus utensils, pots and pans. The front desk staff are very friendly and speak English and more than willing to help you. Free coffee all day in breakfast area and computer available in main lobby if you dont have your own device. You use your key to gain access into the buidling. There are two amazing restaurants across the street (L'Aubergeade / Novelle Epoche) and a small market across street and larger supermarket on Reuily. Some rooms have toilet and bath separate and some dont. For two women we did not feel in any way this was a bad location and since residential very quiet. I understand there is no AC in summer and there is a fan in the closet.

Room Tip: Iif you want a real quiet room ask for one facing the courtyard or unless you want to see the people...

Very good access to metro and walking distance to Gare de Lyon. Small, but very handy kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Room was very clean, staff at the desk very friendly and helpful. A few shady characters in the evening asking for a handout, but we were 2 girls and I felt safe.
Good coffee shop right across the street form Mc Donalds with wonderful breads, sandwiches and coffee. Wi fi worked in the room and lobby.
i would definitely stay there again
