“Compact rooms, great location”

Hotels in Paris are expensive at the best of times and H and I were only looking for somewhere to rest our heads for a couple of hours as we would be travelling elsewhere early the next morning from Gare de Lyon train station which is two stops away on the metro. We are pretty familiar with the area and out of all the properties in the area this had the best price (still €129 per night though!).

The hotel is two minutes walk from Cour St Emilion station which is served by the brilliant and strike-proof driverless metro Line 14. There are also lots of shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep in Bercy Village.

The room that we stayed in was typical Ibis - small, but adequate. If luxury or romance are big deals for you, then you'd probably be better off booking a more expensive hotel. My one pet peeve with the room was that the toilet seat wouldn't stay open properly as the bathroom shelf was in the way. Bit weird to have to prop the seat up with your back when doing your business!

The wi-fi was fine except that you had to log in each time you went online which was a bit of a pain. All the staff that we encountered during our brief stay were nice and helpful.

This hotel wouldn't be my first choice for somewhere to stay in Paris, but if you need somewhere to sleep in an area with good transport links it isn't the worst.

We needed a reliable hotel for just two nights in a convenient location. This was it. We booked last October and got an excellent price of $231 (168 euros) total for two nights. This Ibis was clean, had everything we needed, served by friendly staff, and close to St. Cour Emillon, line 14. Wifi worked well. One English channel, BBC. We had quick breakfasts at the nearby Starbucks though there are many restaurants close by. Small park near Starbucks was a lovely change of pace.

I've stayed here several times as it's very practical, being within easy walking distance of the station and the Bercy village restaurants and bars so it obviously gets my "would I go back vote".
The people are helpful and friendly and the amenities are what you would expect from an Ibis of this level.
I never used the car park, and frankly don't even know if they have one so can't comment but it is difficult to park in the surrounding streets so beware if you're driving.
The wifi works well everywhere and there's lots of space in the bar area if you don't want to work alone in your room.
The only thing I could criticize, but this is general to hotels in this quarter, is the price of the room, I recently paid nearly 180 € for a night's stay, plus the cold breakfast buffet, which I think is pushing the limit for an Ibis.
There may be better rates on some dates but I never got one...

Room Tip: All rooms that I've used were well sound proofed both from inside and outside disturbances

Location wise this is fairly central and therefore offers great links into Paris. However, even though this is a 3 star hotel, check in is very slow as is check out "review your processes". The rooms are clean and functional although there is NO SAFE which is crazy for a hotel in the centre of a city.
Breakfast is poor, all self service. The fruit was not fresh and limited choice, you have a tray like a school canteen and you wander around trying to find something edible - bread and jam is acceptable but thats it and at an extra €10 on an already expensive €160 per night if I wasn't on a time limit I would find somewhere else. Cant believe I would rather eat in a MacDonalds in France than in a French restaurant for breakfast

I staid in Paris with my fiancé for five nights last May. After we booked our flight we spent a lot of time sorting through hotels in Paris and reading Trip advisor comments about them. Of course, at first, we wanted a hotel that was preferably on the left bank, not to far from the city center and top sights. The hotels in that area tended to be very expansive or all full for our timing in Paris. Then we stumbled on to this Ibis hotel located in Bercy Village. We read the comments on Trip Advisor and they were generally positive, though some mentioned small rooms and etc. We were prepared, after reading and before knowing, that rooms in Paris were small as is "custom" in European countries.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were exhausted after taking an early morning flight and walking through some rough parts of Paris (near Gare du Nord train station) with our luggage dragging behind us. We arrived in the reception of the hotel and were welcomed by the receptionist who spoke very good English. We had a room on the 8th floor with a view over the Bercy Village and we also saw the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

The hotel rooms were small, yes, but they were very clean and the bed very comfortable. In truth, we were so expecting something less for our money!

We did not buy breakfast with our room when we booked but we decided to try it out one morning. It was very plain I must say. Bread, croissants, cheese, ham, jam, some Spanish omelet, mini sweet crepes, juice and coffee. We had been hoping that it would include some bacon and scrambled eggs but that was not the case. It cost about 9,50 Euro I think. I you are a "foodie" like me and on a romantic trip I would not advise for buying breakfast at the hotel. The other mornings we walked to Bercy Village and bought us some croissants, baguette, fresh fruits, cheese and coffee and sat on a bench in the village eating our breakfast - which was super nice!

For the location of the hotel - we loved it! As I said before we were hoping, at first, to find a hotel in the center of the city. But for us the location was perfect. We spent all days outside and in the city center, looking at the sights etc., which can be a little bit overwhelming. After a long day of sightseeing and walking we were so happy to come to our little relaxed "Village" every night. St. Cour Emilion train station is just a 2 min walk out side of Bercy Village and from there you can take a train to the right bank or switch in other train stations.

So, to summarize - Very nice hotel, clean comfy beds, excellent location, relaxed neighborhood. Would defiantly go there again for a short visit.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 8th floor - nice view.

I spent two days at this modern hotel. The rooms are typically Ibis: small but with all the basic amenities. There is free WiFi that worked quite well, although I had to sign up several times during my stay. I stayed in room 221, which is overlooking the inner court and therefore quiet. The location is off center, but thanks to the nearby metro 14 station you are quickly in the city. An added bonus is the shopping area nearby which offers plenty of restaurants, specialty stores, a movie theatre and a large Fnac. Breakfast is buffet, with bread, croissants, pancakes, fruits, yogurt, cheese, ham and so on.
The front desk staff was always friendly and they let our group keep a room until 15:00 without any problems. This is not a romantic hotel. It is efficient and cost-effective.

Room Tip: Ask for the inner court if you want an extra quiet room. High floor rooms on the outside might have...

Really nice hotel in great location just outside main centre which is really quick on the metro.
The rooms are a really good size and the hotel is very clean.
There was a good selection at breakfast and the staff were all very friendly.
There are some nice reasturants just opposite the hotel.
