“Worn, small but clean overall an excellent weekend!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2012

Me and my partner have just spent the weekend in Paris for her Birthday where we got engaged, it was a fantastic weekend, we where worn out with site seeing, the hotel is situated perfectly for the Metro (Train) which is the easiest way to travel around paris also the tour buses are brilliant if you need to see everything in one day as we did. The hotel's first impression was where the hell have they dropped us off, as it was at night and looked a bit rough, but in the morning it was perfect a few cafes & bakery's a market near by lovely. The hotel room was extremely small but it is Paris. The room was worn and the bed was a fold out bed that was not very comfortable, but thats the negative, it was cleaned everyday you don't spend that much time in the room anyway it got the job done and the staff where polite and helpful. I propably would not stay again but i would never say never, If it is site seeing which you would be doing in Paris i would recommend staying at this hotel as you hardly spend anytime at the hotel so it isn't really that bad.

Going with 3 friends we had booked a hotel on the cheap and found that this place certainly was. The two rooms we had were great, large and perfect for us, 4 young individuals. I wouldn't recommend it for families or the like.

It wasn't that far out of town, at Villers metro station, but still a good 30 min door to door. a 20 min walk from moulin rouge there were enough bars and restaurants around to satisfy anyone. Quality wise it wasn't luxury by any means, but each room had a mini kitchenette, a large enough, but somewhat poorly equipped bathroom and beds that were comfortable enough to sleep on.

One of the rooms we were given turned out to have 4 single beds (room 2, ask for it if you want, but be aware its on street level with the only windows going straight out to the walkway. Not very busy tho).

The staff were very helpful and reception was open 24/7 so no issues there. and free wifi in reception.

If you are looking for something cheap and with breakfast included then this place is just fine for 2 or three days in paris when you are never really in the hotel anyway!

This is a budget hotel, so it is what it is and you have to expect this. If you want a Hilton, then book a Hilton. The rooms are poor though, shabby, and no need of repair and redecoration.

The kitchen area is tiny but workable if you want to use it (I didn't need to)

The bed...well, its not a bed, its a fold out sofa bed in most rooms. Not overly comfy but again workable.

Room has an LCD tv and 100's of channels. (BBC World News if yo need it)

You will, like many hotels in France, need to enter your credit card and passport number details on a form at check for any damage costs, this is normal and although a little alien to those from the UK, its normal procedure in lots of places and don't panic.

Location is ok, quite close to Metro station (Villiers - Line 2) which of course will take you anywhere. It is a quiet residential part of Paris.

The Parc Monceau is close and on a hot day is worth a walk and sit down with an ice cream.

I was at the hotel in July. The room was ok, but when I paid with my bank card the man at the desk made me enter my bank card code number, and I saw that it was displaying on the device for him to see!!! He said he was sorry, but this is the first time anybody has done this, so I suspect it is a trick to get your code number! Be vigilant!

This small hotel provides basic accommodation at a reasonable price. The hotel facilities are minimal but adequate. It is located about 400 yards from a Metro station. Several good restaurants are within a few minutes walk, and a grocery store is very close by. The rooms are small, but have a tiny kitchen area and a very compact bathroom. The rooms are adequate for sleeping and showering, but seating is minimal. The staff were helpful and friendly. On our first day we had a small breakfast in the hotel for 8 euros each, after that we bought baguettes, ham and cheese and ate in the room for much less.

Booked this at the last minute because of availability and price. You get what you pay for! Rooms are shabby and in disrepair. If you're a large person, you may not fit in the bathroom toilet area it's that small! Shower door came off the track at times and the sink took a long time to drain. Staff informed but nothing was done about it. Staff mediocre. Exactly two chairs and nothing else other than the counter in the lobby...the only place where wi-fi works! If you're looking for no frills, this is the place for you... just don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed...there are no amenities.
