I stayed here with my partner and 16 month daughter. The room was large, but without the views mentioned by other reviews and they provided a cot for my daughter, which had to be brought to the room when we had reminded the staff about it.
Breakfast was average - continental but the option of toast, fruit salad, meats or other yoghurts would have been nice, (hot chocolate is something to be avoided!)
That said the staff were friendly and they were happy to keep our luggage on the day we left whilst we explored the city for a few hours.
The only real negative is the dated decor - particularly the bathroom. Some tiles were cracked and the shower head had to be held up - a connection to the wall would have been nice.

My wife and i stayed here on a recent trip to Paris (room 603).

The staff, i found to be very polite and extremely patient while i practiced my rather poor French on a daily basis.

The room while a bit dated, did have the advantage of a little balcony which overlooked the street below and the rooftops of Paris. We found this to be superb for a morning coffee while waiting for breakfast.

On that point, i found the breakfast to be very good value for money and a perfect start for a day exploring the sights of Paris.

Overall, we found this hotel perfect for our needs, good location, value for money and part of the whole Paris experience. I would, without hesitation return here and recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: Try for one that has a balcony for a truly unforgettable Parisian experience.

Arrived back to the UK on the 9th October 11 - Stayed in room 502 which is an excellent room overlooking the street with large windows that are easy to open (No night time noiise)
It also has air conditioning which works well - I would recommend to stay in rooms 101-103 or 201-203 & 301-303 etc etcm as they have views to the main front street & not to the back of the building.
We caught the air france bus from CDG Airport that took us to Arc De Triomphe very easy to do costing 24 euros return each.
The breakfast is qiute basic i.e continental style with cereal (Help your self)
The staff at breakfast were quite moody & didnt smile at all over the 4 days we were there.
Reception staff were very helpful - We booked through Otel.com & had a really good deal.
Take plenty of Euros with you as food/drinks etc are very expensive.
The hotel is approx a 2 minute walk from the Metro station which is very handy for this hotel.
Would definetly stay at this hotel again & would also recommend to friends.
We had no problems with the exception of a friendly greeting at breakfast.

My girlfriend and I had the unfortunate life experience of staying at this terrible hotel during a trip to Paris in August. There was a homeless man urinating in front of the hotel when we arrived, and we should have taken that as a sign to run for it. The staff were unproffessional and rude, but you can hardly blame them considering how bad the hotel manager was. On our second morning there we noticed something on our sheets - mould! We brought it to the attention of staff and to say we got the run-around is an understatement. Our travel company kept calling the hotel after we had left and the manager would not even answer their calls. We never got the refund the manager had promised. The room was disgusting, breakfast was awful, and the entire experience is something I wish I will soon forget. Stay elsewhere.

the hotel was nice the staff were very friendly.we had booked a double room online for me my husband and two babies. they upgraded us for free to a triple room cus of the babies. the location was excellent, rite beside the metro stop and a 10 min walk from where u get off the bus from a ryanair flight.would stay there again, only issue was dat our room door was left open 1 of the days by housekeeping but i said it at reception and it didnt happen again. we stayed for 3 nites and enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: the triple room is much bigger den the double rooms

We had one of the rooms looking on to the small courtyard so a great view of a wall. Made the room very dark. The bath had a shower attached but no where on the wall to put it not that it matters as the water was Luke warm. Suppose the stubble looks good on the photos but I would have liked to shave. Breakfast was OK in pleasant surroundings. The keys had to be handed in, we arrived in at 1 am one morning and no one was to be seen, agree with comments on safety, we could have leaned over and helped ourself to any key. I have stayed in much better 3 star hotels. Plus points were it was quiet and well placed for the Metro and Arch. There must be better 3 star hotels in Paris.

Really clean rooms but basic slightly faded interior more than made up for by staff's friendliness and lovely croissants at breakfast. Reception staff particularly helpful spoke v good english but graciously, allowed me to practise my french. Location fab 5 mins walk to arc de triomphe and safe feeling area. Would recommend le cristal bistro on av de la grande armee and auberge dabe for a posher fixed price menu friendly french meal. Enjoy and wish i was still there ! Great value break booked with cresta holidays via thomas cook.
