“Good little spot to see Paris from”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

As first timers to Paris we wanted to stay somewhere competitively priced, in a good location that would be clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised about how lovely this little spot was! Room was small as expected but clean with a good shower! Internet connection was €10 for our 2 phones for the duration of our stay which seemed quite reasonable.
Breakfast was very simple (breads, jams, coffee, cheese) but better than nothing.
Out only issue was the A/C. When on it was freezing but when off the room was too warm, there seemed to be no middle ground with it.
Would I stay there again? Yes! It was 5 minutes to a Metro stop, 10 minutes to the Champs Ely, and when in Paris you spend most of your time out exploring anyway!

I stayed here with a group of 16 Travel Club Members as part of our 8 day tour of London and Paris. The hotel is within a 10 min walk to shops, restaurants, night life and the Metro. You can also walk to Arc de Triomphe, a very popular tourist attraction in Paris. I found the hotel to be very clean and the staff were friendly. They do serve breakfast which is provided daily by the hotel. Nothing extravagant just a simple Parisian breakfast consisting of various breads, baguettes, croissants, cheese, jams and coffees. Overall, here is what I most observed during my stay…

Pros –
Serves breakfast
Easily Accessible to public trans, nightlife, and major attractions via short walk
Friendly staff and very welcoming

Cons
No wash clothes in room
Tight elevator (lift)
SMALL rooms
No free wifi - be sure to double check rates

Overall I’d stay here again because of the location and value for services

Nice Hotel, great location, very good front office staff but everything is a spoiler when you compare the room size. The room I stayed in was a triple, the bathroom door could not be locked, the air conditioning did not work despite daily request to the front office who assured it would be fixed. Slept with the Window open as it was very warm. Could improve with a coffee maker.

Room Tip: Dont select 103

We did not mean to book into this hotel. We had trouble at the one that we were originally booked into and was transferred here for one night.

Hotel is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood. About 10 mins walk from Arc de Triomphe. The attic room that we were given was quite sparsely decorated, with rather old bed covers. The beds were comfortable enough. It was adequate for one night.

Breakfast was lovely in a quaint little room off the side of the lobby. French pastries, juice, yogurt, toast, fruits with tea and coffee.

Front desk staff was friendly. It's a solid 3 star hotel.

We got to stay one night in this hotel. The rooms are all very small even if for 3 beds. This makes everything very uncomfortable.
I felt like on a train station waiting room.
Wifi is terrible and do not work at all.

Room Tip: don't book there ...

Travelled to Paris for the first time with my wife, we booked this hotel primarily because of its location and value for money. The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood with good places to eat (boulangerie, brasserie, Asian food, Pizza Hut, etc.), grocers, pharmacy, and boutiques close by. 2 Metro stations - Ternes and Pereire were just a few minutes walk from different directions and from there we were able to explore Paris and most of its famous attractions and even Roland Garros and Versailles. Merci beau coup Messieurs Marc and Javier for being pleasant, patient, and helpful with all the tips, Metro directions, and airport transfer arrangements. Returning exhausted every evening after walking all day, Hotel Élysées Flaubert was a convenient haven for the weary traveller.

Great location, just 10-15min walking to charles de gaule square, and near to several subway stations. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood, with a bakery just across the street and some supermarkets nearby. The rooms are a bit small, but very well decorated and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the ground floor, but the room was very quiet

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
WITHIN CLOSE DISTANCE FROM THE REKNOWN CHAMPS ELYSEES COME TO QUIET, YET MODERN PLACE The hotel is set in a construction dating back to the early twentieth century and surrounded by typical buildings of Haussmann architecture in the 17th arrondissement. While being just a ten-minute walk away from the Arc of Triumph and the Champs-Elysees Avenue, this 40-bedroom contemporary hotel entails an enclosed garden, a bar, a 24h-around-the-clock front desk and offers cosiness and refinement in every room. In 2013 the hotel underwent revamping and inspiration was taken out of Flaubert’s novels (There’s a Flaubert street nearby). Look all around you and you are bound to see famous quotes inspired by his many journeys in the East, Brittany, Corsica and England. The enclosed garden is a vivid reminder of Flaubert’s original garden of his Normand dwelling, not far from Rouen. Sit down and enjoy a pleasurable relaxing moment. a. . ... more   less
