It was a nice hotel. We only stayed one night and the room was a very nice size( compared to our stay once before in Paris) and the bathroom was extremely impressionable. It was easy to find, but the staff isn't very friendly. They were just ok.

Great location and walking distance to key Paris attractions including the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. It was perfect for our stay during the finish of the Tour de France. Equally, close location to Metro lines and also walking distance to Porte Maillot bus station for transfers to Paris Beauvaix Airport. We had a car for the first few days and managed on-street parking within the blocks surrounding the hotel. A daily gamble, but worth the hassle rather than the overpriced options the hotel offer, some distance away.

We were very happy with the quality of the rooms and price, compared to other inner city options and at the last minute. A little on the small side, but still enough room - after all, you only need to sleep there. Some street noise to be aware of, and there was a party we could here in the next street block.

We didn't take up the breakfast option as we thought it was over-priced for what was on offer. This didn't present an issue as within minutes walk of the hotel are quality street and shop markets and coffee shops offering plenty of the usual French food options. Equally, at night there are a number of good restaurant options nearby.

Overall, if you are looking for convenience and basic accommodation, this will suit your needs and we would recommend and return when next in Paris if the price was comparable to other options.

Room Tip: We had two rooms - both on the top floor and although this meant that they were a little bit smaller...

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of November.

We arrived late on a Thursday night but had no problems at all finding the hotel or getting our room. I was shocked by how small the room was (you couldn't open the bathroom and wardrobe doors at the same time) but it was a base, exactly what we needed. It was clean and everything was in working order.

The best thing about the hotel was definitely its location, about a 10 (if that) minute walk from the Arc Du Triomphe/Champs Élysées and 2 minutes from the nearest tune station - on that, I would recommend using the tube system, really easy and makes such a difference to the amount of spare time you have.

There is a brilliant restaurant called Cesar not far from the hotel on Avenue de Wagram, not nearly as pricey as some of the other places we ate but lovely food.

I have rated the service at the hotel low, purely because we didn't really experience any. We spent a matter of hours at the hotel and normally only saw the security guard when passing through the lobby. One thing - you have to leave your room keys at reception when you leave the building - quite normal, but they do appear to just be left on the desk and not locked away which was a bit concerning. I challenged this and they soon started keeping ours in the till, no problem.

Overall, this hotel was great in that it served its purpose for our trip. Great location, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, and a shower!

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place to stay, but if you just need a base for a busy sight-seeing-filled city break, it is perfect.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, really close to Arc de Triumph. The owner isn't very friendly, but who is in Paris?! Anyway, the bedrooms are small, but clean, shower works fine, there's a mini fridge in the rooms and elevator from the first floor. Nobody stays in the hotel when you have a city like Paris waiting to be seen anyway so I wasn't going to spend a lot of money to not use the hotel. I'm rating it very good because it served the purpose of my trip for having a decent place to sleep that wasn't going to break me with the price of a night.

My family of 4 stayed twice at the Hotel des Deux Avenues during June; first time in a "duplex" and second in 2 double rooms. Staff were really genuinely friendly and helpful, willing to answer questions, give directions, and help us arrange visits. It's expensive, but that's Paris - and I'm willing to pay for a room in a nice neighborhood. If you stay, try to get a room on the courtyard - nice and quiet in the middle of the city. Lovely street market outside. Did not have breakfast there; we chose to eat at the cafe down the street instead.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back facing the courtyard are quiet; we also stayed on the street side and it was fairl...

My wife and I spent three nights at this hotel. We chose this Hotel because we wanted to be close (it is a 10 minute walk) to the Arc de Triomphe (where the Tour de France was slated to pass near its end), and the price was right. It turned out to be a good choice. Although it is very close to the Ternes metro station,l we never used that one; we simply used the Charles de Gaulle Etoile station (right at the Arc) for metro. We had a small room and bathroom. The shower water was hot and pressure was good. Only one English option on the TV (Al Jezeerah). We did not choose the breakfast option since we thought 10 euro per person was a bit high, but we later learned that even simple coffee and criossants at a cafe shop can approach that price. Keep in mind that Paris prices are high everywhere. Wireless internet access costs 5 euro per 24 hours so we skipped that as well. There is a small lobby on the ground floor. The neighborhood overall is very nice; there are many coffee shops and restaurants as well as a vibrant market and two supermarkets just down the street. There was no air conditioning in our room. The weather was warm during our stay and we had to open a window which kept us cool enough, but it was noisy outside. We asked the hotel to hold our luggage on the last day after we checked out and went to the Louvre for the morning, and were a bit surprised that they left it outside in their courtyard. Would we stay here again? A strong possibility, but we would look at other options as well.

We just returned from a family (of 4) trip to Europe with a 2 night stay at Hotel des Deux Avenues. The accomodations were great and very convenient within a short walk to Place Charles de Gaulle and Arc de Triomphe as well as many cafes and boulangeries on Avenue de Wagram - and a cash machine right around the corner.
Mr.Clement and his staff were very nice and helpful and the amenities were more than adequate.
We would stay here again and recommend it to those who are looking for a clean and convenient location at a reasonable price for central Paris.
