“Clean rooms”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2014

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance hotel because they are busy building just next to the hotel. The parking wasn't easy to find. But nevertheless we arrived.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room was standard with everything you need. Good bed, clean bath and toilet. Hairdryer, television and wifi. No mini bar. This was not a big deal because you've got just around the corner there are lots of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was ok. The staff was friendly.
It was a fifteen minutes walk to montmartre. If you don't like walking you could take the subway. The price is compared to the quality ok.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Eiffelrower view

Good hotel, Good breakfast, Enough space, Great size bedroom, Good Ambiance however due to construction work the Entry to the Hotel is a little confusing. So Travelers coming by Metro should get down at Porte de Clichy Station and Cross the road using cross over and walk straight into the perpendicular road of the Main Road. It is just 100 meters on the Right side of the Road.

Otherwise, a very good property to stay in the peaceful environment. The disappointing fact was that the Pool was not open when we visited for the reason that some other event was scheduled. I booked this property for the purpose of using the pool side for relaxation however it went in vain.

I would love to try other Accor properties and will update my reviews for the benefit of fellow travelers.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the construction side, till you dont have the choice. Also make clear you want Smo...

First of all, if you are not careful the taxi driver will take you to the wrong one, I was lucky that I knew where it was as he was going to try and drop us off at the another one on the other side of the ring road. Ok, first, there is no coffee or tea making stuff in the room (I guess this helps to keep the cost down) but after a long trip its nice to just bung the kettle on and relax. The rooms are small and you have to go past the bed sideways. The room was clean and the linen was clean and smelled crisp and new and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very powerful which was just amazing after travelling all morning. The good lady did run a bath and a load of black flakes spurted out which filled the bath up, we emptied it and run the water for a while and it stopped so dont know what was going on with that. Staff were nice on check in. It is very confusing getting to the hotel, walking to it you have to go up a side street then up stairs to get to the entrance. There are 2 metro stations either side of the hotel and the main road is full of cafes and bars with lots of different foods on offer. Breakfast was included in our price but check to make sure as they are hard and fast on not letting you in if you have not paid for it. Cold buffet style breakfast was plentiful and spread out over 2 areas. We were on the 9th floor and overlooked a building site which when you opened the window was a bit noisy. We did not eat in the evening or drink in the hotel so I cannot comment on this service. The swimming pool was nice with a jacuzzi and sunas but you do have to pay 5 euros per person per day to use it. If you are driving to the hotel and wish to park there (I would say dont do it) it will cost you 19 euros per day for this service. Overall it was not a bad hotel and having the metros nearby helped at lot when getting into the city. Would I use again? Maybe but I did use my airmiles points to get the train and the hotel so only cost me £40 for 3 nights.

Fair hotel, good breakfast, enough space, great size bedroom, nice staff minus the manager, travelled as a school trip But plenty of other people in the hotel. The manager got angry with our teacher because we were 'loud' but in all honesty I don't think we were at all. Plus what do they expect from 200+ 11-15 year old kids

Plus: new matrasses are very comfortable, rather clean, very good location near bld peripherique ànd metrostop and rer, reasonably priced for parisian standards, secure car parking, windows soundproof, good shower

minus: at this moment - aug 2014- surrounded by large construction sites (drilling starts at 9am), overall deteriorating over the years, swimming pool is a disaster (missing tiles everywhere and pieces of debris on the bottom, rust, black fungus), housekeeper wouldnt leave us alone and kept knocking repeatedly despite the do-not-disturb sign

Room Tip: I have no advice about the room, but about restaurants in the neighbourhood: avenue de clichy is fi...

Great no frills hotel, everything basic apart from staff who were excellent at being helpful and polite. Rooms comfortable and clean and breakfast good value, we also ate in the restaurant one day which was delicious. The surrounding area had a good local feel and offered plenty of places to eat that were less expensive than the more 'exclusive' districts. We walked to Montmartre in about 40mins but the area does offer good transport links to all the top attractions. This is a great place to stay for those who just want to get out and enjoy Paris.

Stayed at IBIS Berthier for tree nights. The hotel and rooms (standard size) are nice and clean, the service friendly and helpful. Located near the metro station - porte declichy, there is parking for guest as well.
