“Great Location”
Reviewed 9 May 2013

I was there few days ago.

Positive:
- Great location: 10' pleasant walk from the hotel to the bus shuttle to the airport CDG and Paris Beauvais. Very close to the Arc de Triomphe. Right at the Argentine Metro stop line La Defense.
- Friendly helpful staff.
- Clean and cosy.
- I think price is acceptable in such luxury areas.

Negative:
- Small bath tub. I think people should ask for room with shower better than bath tub room. Price is almost the same.
- Small bed. It is suitable for whoever is shorter than 162 cm or so.
- The breakfast is so so. I think guest should eat out, not at the hotel. Go out the front of the hotel on the left then on the right you can see the backery then turn right to that street and walk along down there you may find some. Not bad at all.

Room Tip: Good for whoever wants to take early flight to Paris Beauvais airport with tight budget.

Ok, so Paris is expensive for pretty much everything and we were backpacking in June of 2011 when we stayed here. The hotel is really small and quite dated, but clean and comfortable especially on a budget. The first night we stayed we were in the room directly about the cafe/bar facing the street, no AC and it was WAYY too noisy to sleep with the windows open due to the busy street. The next morning we asked to move rooms, and they did so for us with no problems, the second room was another floor up and facing away from the street, looking over the little courtyard, SOOO MUCH BETTER! Still warm, I cannot remember if there was AC, but it was quite enough and pleasant with the windows cracked open. Staff was a little iffy on the english, but we managed. Location was the best selling feature of this hotel, a few steps from the Arc de Triumph and tons of restaurants. We walked all the way to the Louvre more than once, and while it was a bit of a hike, this is a walking city! If I ever return to Paris, I would consider this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask to be in a room facing the courtyard, and not on the floor directly above the lobby and cafe if...

I shouldn't really advertise this super little place - I may struggle to get my annual booking for next year!! No airs and graces - clean and fit for purpose for any racing weekend in Paris - free wifi etc etc - exactly where to be - €20 euro taxi ride to the racecourse - not the Hilton - but as I say - absolutely fit for purpose

They have a website. If you want to reserve....do it via their website. Once I made a mistake ...I ended up with agoda.com....they charge more! So please go to their official website directly!

The first time I stayed there was winter of 2010 ...it was late in the night and I hadn't made any hotel reservations. It was the only hotel in the block which is not more than 100euros! I as really relieved to find it. The staff usually can speak English and the rooms are quite small though but will-do if you are travelling Paris for sight seeing. It was clean and near a metro station (argentine) if you take time to walk around, there are many cages nearby to choose from. You will really like it there if you want an easy morning-after breakfast because it has a pastry shop outside. On my second visit, I stayed there again. Good value for money and really practical plus you are near trocadero( walking distance-where you can sit and stare at Eiffel tower just right across). Incase it is check out time but you still have a bit of time to roam around before your flight or train ride, they are cool with you leaving your luggage near the reception.

Room Tip: They have a website. If you want to reserve....do it via their website. Once I made a mistake ...I e...

We've been there for a couple of nights. Receptionists were nice and friendly, rooms were clear, quiet and capable of guesting also the baby bed we brought with us. Position is excellent with the Metro 10 meters away from the hotel. The hotel has no elevator.

Definitely a very good option!

We stayed at this hotel just for one night - at the end of our trip through Loire valley. We were looking for not too expensive place close to Porte-Maillot. The hotel's location is actually great - in front of the metro station, at 10 minutes walk to Porte-Maillot, really close to Champs-Élysées as well. If you have to take the shuttle from Porte-Maillot to Beauvais airport, that is the best place to stay.
The room was small, clean towels and bedsheets. The carpet was a little bit smelly but however, at that price and just for one night, it was not such a big deal for us :)
I think it is good value for money, especially at that location in Paris.
Finally, I would like to mention that the man at the reception was very kind. We had to check out at 4:30 at the morning. In order to unlock the hotel's door that early for us, the receptionist was sleeping on the couch at the reception. We did appreciate this!

Cheapest hotel we could find in the area. Argentine metro stop was in front of the hotel. We landed at Paris Beauvais-Tille airport from Madrid (Ryanair) and a 45min shuttle bus took us to Porte Maillot, Paris. It was only a 10min walk to the hotel from there. The rooms were small and had no air conditioning or ventilation. Our room was #114 facing the street. If you opened the windows, you would not be able to sleep at night due to traffic noise and the cigarette smell from the restaurant in front. The bed was comfortable and the toilets were clean though cramped. TV was small and no english channels. The room had a small fridge. If you don't mind the accommodations which we really didn't because it was just a place to rest up for the next day adventure, then this hotel is ok. We're not picky. Don't eat breakfast in the hotel for E9.00. Not worth it. The front desk spoke english and helped us out with directions. Wifi was not free. One thing I really liked is that they kept our bags for us after checkout since we had time to walk around Paris before our flight back to Madrid.

Around the area, there were a lot of good restaurants, a self-service wash, internet cafe and within walking distance to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. We even walked from the Eiffel back to the hotel.
